[ Master Xehanort is in a much better mood than before. The changes this dressing room went through are quite pleasing, they’re even handful. Rather than staying to live amongst other peoples, Master Xehanort is now living, experimenting and plotting in the Keyblade Graveyard.

If anyone is curious enough to stop by this mysterious place and see the countless Keyblades laying there, odds are that the old Keyblade Master will spot them and speak to them. He is in a nice mood so he won’t attack or try to kill anyone, he’ll even be courteous and ready to debate, speak or divulge the history of the place if he feels it serves him. Although, he remains attached to his purpose and will still try to turn peoples to his cause or darkness if he sees a good occasion. ]

[ Master Xehanort noticed the bandages, and the sword she wielded. This probably meant her Keyblade had not been fixed yet. Also, she probably entered a battle she lost, or at best she barely defeated her opponent.

He appears not so far behind her and speaks slowly. ]

Countless keyblade wielders died here. They wished to offer us a better future, to make evolve the world.

[ he pauses. ]

Hope deceived.

[she cringes a bit at his statement, turning to look at him a bit sadly.]

There's nothing wrong with fighting for a cause like that.

Indeed. But nothing changed. Nothing evolved. Everything stagnated. They died for nothing.

[ He walks a few steps beyond her and stares at the cliff. ]

That, in the end, is what I work for. To give their death a purpose. To allow their dream to become a reality.

[she stares at his back for a moment, frowning faintly.]

But how are you doing that?

[ He remains silent for a few second then turns to her. ]

The ways are multiple. Yet necessary. If everyone agreed that Light and Darkness should exist in a perfect equilibrium, then I wouldn't have to do anything. Unfortunately, such a consensus will never happen. Someone has to be what you call the 'bad guy', otherwise the 'heroes' would never feel the need of doing anything, and stagnation would prevail.

[ All while he speaks, he looks at her bandage, and so he adds... ]

May I ask what happened?

Oh.

[she mulls over what he's said, then glances down at her arm.]

Er, a Vanitas attacked me a while back and my arm got burned. It's healed up now, but I don't really like looking at the scar.

[ He frowns. ]

Hum... That boy is, or rather those boys and girls, are uncontrollable. I do not like the way most of those Vanitas turned, to be honest.

[ Now he looks down at her sword. ]

But, that might have been avoided, would you have wielded a Keyblade.

They're all jerks.

[that's as mean as she'll get when name-calling, really. she looks down at her sword as well and sighs.]

Yeah, I know...

Unfortunately, they are very numerous, and accidents of this kind are meant to happen again.

[ He turns away and remains silent for a moment. ]

You could still chose to obtain another Keyblade. As I mentioned a few months ago, your case is very special.

[she bites her lip, uncertain. she really would like a Keyblade again, even if she has a nice replacement sword in the meantime. but it couldn't hurt to at least ask, right?]

How would I even do that?
