[ We all know how that Riku has taken to the change, but what about some others?

There are other people, like, say, a

healerclass who has taken to the second story window a nice little home to peer around with a pair of large hot pink binoculars. She's watching this

knighttildawn patrol the bridge in armor. On the other side of the neighborhood, an

dawningcoast has dropped her bags of groceries she was taking home to haul ass after her son. Baby Aden has decided that clothes are unnecessary. As for the older

hallowedshore? He's not actually sure he likes this change. He's sticking to the apartments for now, sitting on the roof with his legs hanging dangerously over the edge.

Down below, a

hidesandseeks is going around trying to figure out where all of her friends and family now live, and

royaltentacles is slinking through alleyways only once night has fallen. No one probably cares where

thundery is, and that's just fine with him. He's laid claim to a pretty little castle. ]

... no. This is something new. But at least she'll have more room to run.

I'd just become accustomed to the dressing room when it transformed. I'm unused to having to adjust so often.

[It isn't necessarily that he dislikes it, it's just that he'd just gotten used to the DR. Then this happened. That, and he still wants to go home, and that is becoming less and less likely. That much he does not like.]

I understand. It's pretty weird here. Eventually, you just adjust to... having to adjust!

I would prefer that I didn't.

[Riku is very aware of how childish that mentality is, but he can't help it. This is too much change for his liking.]

Well, maybe you'll go home soon. Because things just keep changing here. I'm sorry you hate it so much.

[He sighs.]

It isn't that I hate it. But I have duties to fulfill, and a queen to protect.

[Technically a king and a princess, but we all know where Riku's main loyalty is.]

[nods sympathetically. he won't pry. he's trying to break that habit.]

I doubt you'll believe me, but time stops in your home world, when you come here. Rest assured, the queen is well-protected, even though you're stuck here.

[He doesn't look so sure, but that's mostly worry. Most of his time has been spent worrying, in fact. It's his latest hobby. However, he trusts Soras above everyone else.]

[smiles at that. he was all ready for you to be stubborn. which he knows you are, because you are a Riku.]

Good. It'll save you a lot of worry. Your hair's already grey, after all.

[Being so stubborn toward someone so helpful would be unbecoming of a knight! And he's not about to slack of on his duties here, either. That's a trademark Riku smirk right there.]

Very funny.

[smiles, and goes back to feeding the horsie.]

... could I ride her some time?

[He looks surprised by the question, but not annoyed or anything remotely close to it. Just surprised.]

Have you ever ridden before?

Nope. We didn't have horses on the Islands. There were horses in old China, though. Where Mulan lives. Only the army got to ride them, though.

[mouuu.]

I have never heard of China.

[But he's sliding off of Dawn like an expert, moving around front to give her the usual pettings.]

It's a really large country. It's amazing.

[he gives you a carrot to feed her :3]

[He'll take it. He'd like to keep Dawn on his good side, you know. She's loving all of this attention.]

[he can only imagine. it might comfort her a little during this stressful time when everything's a'changing to be especially spoiled.]

[She's a pretty laid back old broad, but you're right. All this change is stressful. She's not opposed to pampering in the slightest. She blows out a gust of horsey breath in their faces.]

[blinku. then he's very :O! and flails a little, before going to pat Dawn's side.]

A-are you sure it's okay? She won't hurt me?

I doubt that very much. She's very peaceful, and well-trained.

[He gives her another pat and then follows Sora over.]

[that's a relief! he will stare at the saddle and stirrups with a little apprehension. for all his desire to ride her, he's a little scared.]

Um.

[Riku has picked up on that. Unfortunately, as much as he'd help if Sora wanted, he's a little amused.]

It's your choice.

[then please enjoy watching him try to mount this horse. you may have to show him how.]
