[There are a couple of very confused Rikus (and a Replica) in the DR today.

lightyin was in a hallway, until the hallway itself started to crumble and fall apart--he had nowhere to go. Now he's standing outside of the apartments, and he can see the ocean. That doesn't seem right to him.

Meanwhile, darkyang is equally confused. He's on a bridge a good distance away and he was 100% sure there wasn't a bridge or a stream anywhere near him.

twilit_dark was taking a nap and managed to miss everything. He's just woken up. He'll be shocked when he decides to leave his room, though.

The last one, the chakraandkey has found himself in a forest. He knows there's a stream nearby, and he thinks that he's back in the world he came from. He just has to locate the village and he'll be good. He'll be looking for a while.]

[He notices this, but doesn't say anything as he climbs into the boat himself. He's going to assume that he's piloting the boat and settles near the motor. Feel free to disagree as he's attempting to start the motor.]

[If Riku were his master he might offer to pilot. Since that isn't the case, he's going to be taking the reprieve for what it is until they reach the island.]

[Suit yourself. Riku takes a minute to get used to motorized boat operation, but then he's good.]

I wonder if it's changed...

[He's not really expecting an answer; he's just thinking aloud. He hasn't been back to the islands for a couple years. Even though these likely aren't his islands.]

... I hope not.

[As much as he once wanted to get away from the confines of the islands, he'd give almost anything to have them still safe, still untainted by the Darkness he invited in.]

Guess we'll get to see for ourselves, right?

Because they're fairly close to the play island now, close enough that they could swim the rest of the way if they wanted to (and if they wanted to lose the boat, but that's beside the point) without too much trouble.]

[He isn't very likely to try, even if he weren't in his current condition. Words are stuck in his throat until he swallows, and then they settle in his stomach like a lead stone as they get closer. He isn't sure what he hopes to find there any more.]

[Something that won't attack him mentally, physically, or spiritually? Crabs? Sand?

He doesn't say anything else as he shuts the motor off and maneuvers the boat close enough to the dock so that he can tie it up. Then he climbs up on the dock to properly check out what he can see of the island.]

[As much as he doesn't want to see Kairi or Sora right now, he would absolutely freak out if he saw an Organization member. He's slow to follow Riku out of the boat, but most of that is because of the burgeoning feeling of dread.]

[It'd be kinda strange for an Organization person to be on Destiny Islands anyway, wouldn't it? Excepting, say, Roxas or Xion. Maybe.

That dread feeling must be paranoia on his part, or else this Riku's missing something.]

[Just making sure you're still not dying over there.]

[It is definitely paranoia, because there doesn't seem to be anything amiss at all on the play island so far. He's a little unsteady on his feet at first, but that could be attributed to the shifting, wet sand beneath his feet as much as to the aching pulse of Darkness in his chest.]

I'm... fine. Do you see anyone?

[He scans the whole area, then shakes his head. He can't see, smell, or otherwise sense anyone around except for himself and Riku.]

I don't think there's anyone here except us.

[A lot of pent-up tension in him simply drains out at that, his shoulders drooping. At the same time, he looks a little disappointed.]

I can't sense anyone either.

Do you still want to hang around here all by yourself?

[Not that he's going to leave right away, but whenever he does decide to.]

I've waited long periods before.

[Though technically that was before Kai was his master, and this is a completely different setting from the busy room he'd waited while in the same submissive position for hours. No people here to stare or whisper about him means it'll even be considerably more peaceful than before, too.]

Oh. Mind if I stick around the island for a while longer myself? I'd like to check it out a bit more.

[He won't bother Riku if he wants to be left alone or anything.]

[You have no idea. Also he never will, unless he discovers the tape of a week in slaveku's former life in Kai's office, wherever that may be now.]

I don't mind... I plan to wait in the tree house.

[He can see the whole island from up there, as well as have a place to rest out of the sun. A part of him also wants to be away from this Riku that is treating him like an equal. It's unsettling.]

[Since the player would rather not traumatize him with said tape, he will not watch it. Yet. Also, he doesn't think he's doing anything wrong with regards to how he's acting towards Riku.]

Oh. That seems like a good idea. [Also Monstro won't eat you up there. He glances up at the tree house. Hi, he missed you too.]

I'm gonna look around a bit on the other end of the beach.

[He's just acting like he's a normal person, when Riku doesn't view himself as normal like him at all. His mindset is skewed pretty far from the norm, as well. He'll just nod and wait for the other Riku to leave before heading slowly to the tree house.]

[And he probably will anytime they meet in the future unless Riku actually tells him not to.

And he does leave, heading for the cave by the waterfall.]
