When in doubt, bake

[Kira might not be the brightest crayon in the box, but she can tell when something is bothering someone, especially if those someones are members of her family. There's a strange sort of tension in the air and she can't figure it out, which just makes her anxious. So, in an effort to calm herself down, Kira is baking. A lot. This kitchen has nearly every available surface covered in delicious baked goods, from cakes to pies and even homemade bread. One might even notice suspicious chocolate stains at the corner of Kira's lips, because she's been stress-eating everything chocolate that's been baked.]

[Kira will quickly gather ingredients for a simple pie]

[And she'll just take a sample while she's waiting. Mm, cupcake.]

Alright. A peanut butter pie! That should be easy.

Okay, first, mix the cream cheese and sugar together in the big bowl. Don't stir too fast since you don't want the sugar to fly everywhere.

Right! [Giving it her best go, but she was never the least clumsy of people...]

[she will keep an eye on you as she works on making cookies, giving you the next instructions and such]

Once everything is mixed together, you just pour it into that pie shell in the pan.

[And without too much filling escape, she'll go ahead. Maybe just tasting a little bit while she's at it.]

It'll be better when it's fully set. You just put it in the freezer for a couple hours, and that's it! You made your first pie!

Hmm. [Looking at the pie.] That could take a while.

Well, you just keep it in the freezer or fridge when you're not eating it, so it can last a long while. Or you can share it with friends and family. Though I don't know if your dad likes... pie.
