[Kira might not be the brightest crayon in the box, but she can tell when something is bothering someone, especially if those someones are members of her family. There's a strange sort of tension in the air and she can't figure it out, which just makes her anxious. So, in an effort to calm herself down, Kira is baking. A lot. This kitchen has nearly every available surface covered in delicious baked goods, from cakes to pies and even homemade bread. One might even notice suspicious chocolate stains at the corner of Kira's lips, because she's been stress-eating everything chocolate that's been baked.]

Maybe all your pets keep you busy? How are they? Aren't you... growing something? It doesn't have lots of legs, does it?

[He uses one hand to turn on the water and add some soap. The other hand is wiping pie off of his face and into his mouth.]

[Kira notices and gives a sigh before taking up a damp paper towel to scrub Aden's cheek clean]

[He will protest that and try and tilt his face away out of her reach. But the tin is clean!]

[He freezes, which she can take as an opportunity to scrub his face clean.]

[she does indeed scrub, then pecks Aden's now-clean cheek before swooping away with the tin]
