Well... He wanted me to buy time, and I'd say he got it. [Braig turns and runs off, leaving Aqua confused.]

What? [And then she turns around as she remembers.] Ven!

Aqua! [Ven's voice is panicked, and it takes Aqua a moment to hear Vanitas's weight falling through the air. She looks up to find the source— Darkness. Nothing. She hadn't been fast enough.]

Uhn... [Hey, Dressing Room dwellers, there's a new Aqua who just crash landed in the middle of the hallway. Sure, her armor might have saved her from more major injuries, but she doesn't exactly look comfortable, lying there on the floor. Help her out... or have her wake up to even worse circumstances than she's just left in her own universe.]

(ooc: Canon Aqua! She just defeated Braig and got knocked out by Vanitas, meaning she was brought here while her Terra was beginning to fight Master Xehanort and her Ven was struggling to free himself from the ice.)

Aqua!

[Yeah, there's a slightly older Ven rushing right up to her. Given her position, he can already guess when she's from, and he's ready to send a cure spell her way if necessary.]

[Her eyes open wide, and she turns her head to look into his direction to search for him, gasping.]

Ven!

[She's sitting up against the wishes of the heavy bruising under her armor, and although she aches, she's throwing her arms around Ven if he's in any way low enough to the ground to be within her reach from this position. It's him; he's safe...as far as she can tell while she's so shaken, at any rate.]

Aqua?

[Terra's pretty stunned to see her crashlanding in this world. He's even more stunned to see her in her armor, looking more than a little battered.

He summons his Keyblade as he approaches, wary that whatever had done this was somewhere nearby.]

[He wasn't expecting that hug, but he's totally not gonna complain; it's been a while since he's seen any version of Aqua, besides a rather unfortunate double not too long ago. Still, he's worried; she looks like she's in pain.]

Hey, do you need some help?

[At this point, it's probably a bit more obvious that he's close to her height.]

[For a moment, she's frightened. In all this darkness, there's no light, but then... a voice. Terra's voice. If he only knew how sweet the sound of it was to her, then maybe he'd never stop talking. But he has stopped talking, and Aqua gasps. Her eyes shooting open, immediately landing on the brunet. She sits up.]

Terra! Are you okay? What about Ven? Where is he? What happened?

[She reaches out for him, begins to recoil with a wince, and then disregards the pain in favor of keeping her hand out for Terra. She can't think about what he's done to the Master right now. She just needs her friend.]

You don't? [Aqua gives him a squeeze before releasing him. She's just realized that he's not wearing his armor, and there's something about him that looks...different. More...mature? And this sure isn't the Keyblade Graveyard.]

...How long has it been?

[He stops Aqua as she tries to reach out for him, his expression steady even though the concern is obvious in his eyes.] Stop-- don't strain yourself, Aqua. [With his Keyblade out, it's just a little awkward grabbing her hand with his other. It's somehow comforting, even though their last meeting wasn't a good one.]

[None of her questions receive answers, but somehow, she's soothed all the same by him. She keeps her eyes on his, pulling lightly on his hand as if she means to pull him closer. Her other hand reaches for his chest.]

Tell me, Terra... What happened?

[She's worried. She has to be, to be doing this and trying to draw him in. Terra doesn't stop her this time, warily dismissing his Keyblade so he can turn his full attention to her.]

I don't know--not what you're talking about, at least. This isn't... [He shouldn't be so reluctant to say it.] This isn't wherever you last were. It's a different world.

[Well, if she needs the extra hand, he's pulling out a Hi-Potion right now and offering it to her.]

Two years for me, but don't worry; you weren't out for that long. Time's kinda funny here.

[She frowns at him. Her face is still dirty from the ordeal she'd faced on the battleground. Loose particles of dirt fall off of her armor as she shifts to press her palm to his chest.]

You didn't bring me here? [Then who did?]

[She accepts the Hi-Potion, giving him a weak smile of thanks before drinking it. She swallows hard. Two years. His attempts to reassure her only confuse her. She's looking him over, admittedly picking out what differences she can see in his physique. Maybe...maybe she's dreaming.]

Where are we?

Most people call it the Dressing Room.

[He pauses for a moment, checking to see if any doubles are nearby.]

It's a different world, but it's really different from the rest.
