The games have changed

[With pieces of every different world among the stars represented in the DR, it's no surprise that eventually Rinzler would stumble across this one.

Like everything on the Grid, the skies are gloomy and dark - no sun here - but there's light enough from the circuit lines that track across most of the structures. Here, most of the lighting is from the stands of seats. They're empty here, lending a sort of ominousness to a place that would have been a center of activity on any real version of the Grid.

On the main floor of the arena, there's an odd sort of track. It's multileveled, and looks almost as if it were built for some sort of vehicle. There's even someone out on it, taking loops around the thing almost as if to conquer boredom.Given that, it's a safe bet to say that this field is built for one thing: lightcycles.


So. Who wants to go for a spin?]

[There's a teenage girl with long blue hair, dressed in pink, blue and black, standing at the door, looking around wide-eyed. She loves finding new rooms to hang out in, and this one's no exception. She steps further into the room, still in complete awe...until she thinks she hears an engine running.]

Hmm...

[And with that she tries to find her way into the stands so she can get a seat and watch whoever it is without possibly getting run over.]

[Unfortunately for her, getting into the stands isn't quite as easy as it looks. No one would want the result of crashes to get out into the stands, and even if there's no one to sit in them the protections are still active.

And the sound of a lightcycle is most definitely getting closer, although she might not be able to pinpoint where it's coming from unless she thinks to look down.

[Well crap.

Desi skids to a stop when she realizes she can't get into the stands from here, then when the sound registers as getting closer, she looks around for a moment, then yep, looks down, just in case.]

[After a moment, the lightcycle in question goes blazing past her, before Rinzler jumps it up to the level she's on as if it were the easiest thing in the world, before pulling off into a rather impressive 180 so that he's facing her.

For now though, he'll just watch.]

[Desi lands on her ass with a yelp, then just stares at him with wide eyes before pushing herself up and dusting herself off.]

S-sorry...guess I found the wrong door.

[She glances up at the door on the second floor, the one that obviously led into the stands.]

[Rinzler isn't quite sure what she's apologizing for. The wrong door, he can understand, but she hasn't done anything to require apologies, in his mind. So he just sort of rumbles his confusion at her.]

[Well she was apologizing for interrupting his ride, but whatever. She tilts her head at the lightcycle, finally starting to calm down a little. She's still a little wary though, I mean, come on, if you were tortured by a demon, you would be too right?]

So...what is this place supposed to be?

[Okay, then. This is just plain cool. Xeha's looking around with a great big smile - hey, it's got atmosphere, okay? He heads on further in, heading for the tracks.]

[Getting to the tracks is the easy part. Acquiring a proper 'cycle... not so much. But there's a cyclist approaching fairly quickly, if he wants to ask about things.]

[Well, he'll watch what this guy's doing for a bit, at least... get the feel of what's going on. But he'll give him a wave - he seems to know what the deal is!]

[Right now, he's not doing anything too fancy. Just enjoying the feel of the having a lightcycle under him again. But eventually, he pulls up not to far from Xehanort. 'Sup?]

[There's a moment of silence, and he derezzes the upper canopy of the 'cycle so he can sit up - and more importantly offer a shrug. Not like he was really doing much of importance.]

[The track, such as it is, is multilayered, with no barriers to keep someone from falling (or jumping) to a lower level. If he's not careful, he might miss a step, since the floor is semi-translucent.

For now, the lightcycle seems to be on the lower level.]
