Sceadu and Katie plot way too much sometimes xD

[This silent, very sparsely decorated room is empty...until someone dives through a dark portal right into the middle of the room. Closing the portal quickly behind her, Avani pushes herself up and looks around.]

Oh....

[She shrugs to herself and starts heading for the door, pausing when she sees a pair of white stick-type things on a table beside the door. Looking at them curiously she goes over and picks one up, looking it over.]

What are these things?

[ooc: Set after Avani's thread in Master Xehanort's post, and locked to

biphasic. I may also be throwing Clu and Sam in at some point maybe.]

[Right now, they don't look like a whole lot. Certainly interesting, compared to the starkness of everything else, but it looks like nothing so much as... handlebars, maybe? Or possibly something that gets plugged into something, but there's no cords attached.

Very odd, really.]

Huh. Weird...but cool.

[Avani puts it down and turns to head for the door, she doesn't want whoever stays here to find her here.]

[Unfortunately, it's just at that moment that the room's inhabitant decides to to come back. For what or why only he knows, but there's low growl all the same.

wtf are you doing in his room? :|]

[She's already spooked from her ordeal in the kitchen, this just makes it worse.

And her reaction will more than likely make it worse too.

Grabbing that stick thing she was looking at, she throws it in his general direction as she starts trying to circle around him to get to the door. ~~Maybe if she gets to Sam's room somehow...~~]

[Rinzler grabs the baton out of mid-air without even really seeming to think about it. Either he's used to having things thrown at him or his reflexes are just that good.

And either way the growl hitches up a pitch, taking on a more aggressive tone. Rinzler is not amused.]

[Shit. Avani holds her hand out, this (http://katie.papelstaques.net/khstuff/1.jpg) appearing in a flash. She is too freaked out to speak right now.]

[There's a soft 'click' as Rinzler sets down the baton, and in the blink of an eye, out come those discs of his. If she wants a fight, he can most certainly do that.]

Uh....

[Plan plan plan, come on Avani you can think of something...ohshitRikka'sgonnabepissedyougotyourselfintroubleagainisn'the?

Avani starts backing towards the wall, if she can get a portal through to Sam's room, maybe he can help? As it is, midnight blue eyes are locked on those discs as she holds her keyblade out defensively.]

[Another growl is all the warning Avani gets before one of Rinzler's discs is flying through the air. Normally he wouldn't jump to fighting so quickly (unless it was on the Game Grid) but this is his room, and intruders are not tolerated.]

[Avani eeps as it nicks her arm(pretty much same place Sam got hit in the arena), then she drops down to a crouch so it doesn't take her head off on the way back as she continues scooting back to the wall before she gets a plan and looks up at Rinzler with a small smirk.]

[Rinzler sees that smirk there, and it doesn't really help his mood, although it does signal quite nicely that she's trying something. So while the first disc is on it's way back he sends off the other one.

~~Come on, show him what you're planning there.~~]

[Avani ducks down a little more so the other disc doesn't give her a haircut then she just waits, watching his feet if they get closer. And if he does, she will look up, reach for his wrist, and press her other hand to the floor. Think Flynn at End of Line, but instead of leveling the playing field of a barfight, a portal poofs up around the two of them, taking them to another room, where Avani looks up and yells the occupant's name.]

Sam!

[He does indeed get closer, if only in preparation to grab his disc on the return. Unfortunately, he's not expecting to get grabbed, and between the portal and his surprise, he kind of... whiffs the catch on that one.

Needless to say, he's rumbling up a storm by the time the portal drops them out in Sam's room.]

[Sam blinks when he hears Avani yelling for him, so he steps out of his bedroom and just stares.]

What the hell did you do Avani?

Uh um..that bald guy I told you about that tried to kill me? He cornered me in the kitchen so I uh...tried to portal to the room I took Rikka to the night we met, and uh...

[She jerks a thumb at Rinzler as she lets him go.]

...ended up in his room instead.

[As soon as Avani lets go of him, Rinzler takes a position that's about equidistant from both of them and drops into a semi-defensive stance, still growling his irritation. He knows he's at a disadvantage here (more so with one of his discs not present) but oh how he doesn't like that fact.]

[Avani scoots back, dismisses her keyblade and plops on the couch, hugging one of the throw pillows as she watches Rinzler warily.]

[Sam's impressed, Avani, you got one of his discs away from him. Not like he's saying that aloud right now, though, he's just watching Rinzler, and if he tries to go for Avani again, shit is gonna hit the fan.]

You hear that? She didn't mean to show up in your room. Maybe she was so spooked by what happened in the kitchen that she was a bit off.

[Oh why is he trying to talk you down.

[He wants to. He really really wants to, to avenge his room, or just prove his superiority even with a single disc to his name. Or even to just prove that he's better than someone who has to cheat to best him. But he knows it's stupid. He wasn't compiled last millicycle.

So he just sort of sits there and is irritated at every damned thing in the room.]

[Avani just raises a hand and opens another portal for Rinzler.]

That'll take you back to your room. I'll try to keep from portaling there again, I promise.

[Rinzler is not one to take promises on face value, but he looks at the portal, and then back to the other people in the room. A moment later, he decides he might as well risk, and heads on in - backs on in, really, since he's not about to let them have a strike at him if he can help it.]

[All things considered, Rinzler really not sure he likes this portal business. It's not that he mind the darkness it's just... strange. Like there's supposed to be something not right about it, something his code isn't capable of understanding.

So it's no surprise that he's very glad to find him stepping back out into his room again.]

Lose something?

[Clu was just about to head out to track you down, he's got your other disc in his hand.]

What happened?

[Lost something and was missing it, actually. But he knows better than to take it from Clu when it wasn't offered, so he once again considers the idea of slotting the one he has back in, if only just so he doesn't have to hold the other (and possibly look as if he's offering aggression to Clu).]

Unknown aggressor arrived unannounced. In the ensuing battle I was pulled into a portal of unknown origin, resulting in failure to catch thrown disc.
