[Well. This is new. Not so much the Xehanort walking down the corridor? But what he's carrying.

It's small, with a little bit of blue fluff on its head. Making a noise. And is currently flailing around a bit in the carrier.

He lifts little Desiree up and peers in at her.]

[Finally he's not a puppy anymore! Sam's heading down the hall to get something to eat in one of the kitchens when he spots the father/daughter duo.]

Hey.

[Unfamiliar face - and that means a lot around here, even! He gives a smile.]

Hey there.

[...Is that what he thinks it is?]

[Quite probably. And he'll get a wave and a light laugh.]

Hey. Got someone here to meet you.

That so?

[A nod, and he brings the kid around for a better look-]

Braig, meet Desiree.

[Kids her age mostly look a lot alike to Braig, but he nods appreciatively anyway.]

Cute little thing.

[Hey, he'd probably have said the same until a month ago. Giving a grateful smile-]

Thanks.

[He just grins and shrugs]

It's the truth.

[He shrugs, gives a 'heh.] Well. She's a little handful, but she's not old enough to get into any real trouble yet...

Yeah, but the thing about kids is that they grow.

I'd worked that one out, you know.

I'd kinda hoped you had.

[He laughs.] That was the easy part.

I'm just enjoying the quiet bits while they last, really...

[He gives a laugh at that.]

Heh. I'm trying to imagine what a kid of yours would end up like.

I guess it depends on who else was involved.

[That gets another bit of a laugh.]

Well, I wouldn't know that bit.

I mean, I can guess what it might get from me, but...

[He pauses.]

I'd... been thinking about something, actually.

I'm not sure if I've asked you this before? But ... would you be willing to be her godfather?

[That is honest-to-god surprise (of the pleasant sort) there.]

Yeah. [He nods.] Because when it comes down to it, I know you come through in the end.

Heh. Any more of that and I'll be blushing so hard the Heartless back home'll see it. But... sure. If you want me.

Well, I've still got to confirm it with Aqua. But - she's not got a problem with you if I don't have one. [He gives a grin there.] So I hope she'll agree too.

I guess we'll just have to see, hunh?
