[From one of the various living-room-type areas of the Dressing Room, there's a loud scrunching noise, almost as if someone's fallen from a great height onto a table. Which is, conveniently, what's just happened. Once's he's picked himself (and the tatters of his pride) up from the wreckage, he just sort of stares at the place before asking the only questions that really matter at this point.]

Raijin? Fuujin?

[A pause]

This ain't funny, you know.

[ No, go away. He is going to just look around at everything with sort of wide eyes-- oh my god that thiong looks painful. See, this is why he'd prefer to fight with no weapons-- is that another gunblade.. thing? PEERS AT IT. ]

[ Dammit, I will. And he will go to try and pick it up-- dankjnfasd that is heavy oh my god kneeling over. ]

[Seifer just sort of steps on over at that and easily - and without any appearance of effort - takes the gunblade out of Hayner's hand and puts it back where it had been.]

You don't have the training for that.

[Interestingly he sounds... like like an asshole, for a change.]

How long did you have to train for it?

[ Annoyed, but that's not anything new. At least he isn't yelling yet. He actually sounds interested-- and a bit of relief in there because damn that hurt to hold, but he'll deny it forever. ]

[Seifer shrugs.]

Eight, nine years? I didn't really ever count.

... that's.. pretty much half my life. Which is how long I've been Struggling.. or around there. Ever since I was a kid.

[ looks over at some of the other weapons-- o look, a nail bat. ]

[ He'll continue to laugh for a bit, then forcing himself to catch a breath, reply-- ]

It's a mercenary force.

[ He goes to put a hand over his mouth, trying his best to stop laughing. Oh god, this is in the hurting stage. ]

When did.. they start letting.. assholes in the military?

[Hear that, Hayner? It's the sound of Hyperion tapping against Seifer's boot.]

[ ;o; good lord I am just laughing-- which is.. still continuing, though more muffled because he has his hand over his face. GOING TO BACK AWAY ANYWAY, not that that actually helps much. ]
