(no subject)

[This smaller Red looks like he just recently started recovering from being ill, mostly because that is exactly the case. Gorging on leftover Christmas sweets was apparently a Very Bad Idea! Not that he had any clue what Christmas was, really, other than the fact that it had him in hiding for most of December. Right now he's curled up on a couch, watching a horror movie (with the lights on, out of laziness) and stuffing his face with some proper candy. The volume is fairly loud, so it's possible the screaming coming from the television could be confused for the real thing.]

(ooc: herp derp Silent Hill movie because it was the first thing that came to mind. 's still near the beginning, for those that have seen it. First trip into the Otherworld.)

[Tiny child peerin' in the room atchu. Or, well, she was. She's never watched a horror movie before, and what's happening on the screen quickly has her attention.]

[If Red notices her, he's not saying anything. And Kairi's just in time! There's... something on that chainlink fence, and that something is still alive, despite looking like it shouldn't be.]

[That makes her gasp in horror, loudly, and huddle up behind the doorframe. She's nowhere near used to seeing things like that. For someone who's been in the dressing room for several years, she's horribly sheltered.]

[At the sound of someone not in the movie, he pauses it (thankfully without anything too horrible on screen) and peers over the back of the couch.]

[Well, this might be weird, because the sight of his face calms her immediately, and she detaches from the wall to wander over.]

You got tiny!

I did not.

[He's never been bigger than this! Stupid weird kid. >:C]

But you used to be really, really tall!

[Now he's... not.]

No I didn't.

[But he is looking a bit angry.]

[She looks surprised! Then pauses to think.]

Are you new?

Not really new... I been here a while.

Like years?

[She will trap you with questions!]

No... more like a month or two.

[Aha.]

How old are you?

None of your business.

[Do I have to ignore you and go back to my movie.]

[Well fine then.]

Is your name Red?

[Seven year old boy peeking in and blinking at the horror movie on the screen. And then wandering over to see who's watching it.]

Whatcha watching?

Something called Silent Hill.

[He eyes the other uneasily for a moment, then looks back at the screen.]

Is it good?

[Climbing up on the couch with you to watch--too curious for his own good.]

It's boring so far.

[Well, Myde will shortly be seeing someone hung up on a chain link fence, as mentioned in the thread above! Hope he's not too squeamish~.]

[Oh so squeamish and easily scared. He gives a little yelp and covers his eyes!]

It's a scary movie, isn't it??

[He takes a peek through his little fingers and then immeadiatly goes back to covering them.]

Duh.

[Even if he covers his eyes, the music and screaming is definitely offputting!]

[Red's lack of fear is making him feel pretty ashamed of his own cowardlyness. So he tries again to peek at the screen.]

W-well I'm n-not s-s-scared at a-all!

Sure you aren't.

[Don't worry, he enjoys fear~. Not to the extent his older self does (thankfully), but he certainly seems a bit more relaxed and content than he was when Myde first showed up. The screen has moved away from the thing up on the chainlink fence, but now there are strange monsters after the woman!]

[Well, the big kids always pick on him for it so he's trying reeeeally hard not to freak out again. But omg, monsters! x.x See him shaking all over as he forces himself to lower his hands and watch with big, frightened eyes?]

I-It's not that scary!

[So much determination.]

[He just shrugs and settles back to watch. Eventually the woman gets trapped, trying desperately to get away from them, etc.]
