~The Great Ice Cream Hunt~

[It's been a long day. A not-so-fun long day, and Xion's tired. But, as she's been told, the best cure to a long day is ice cream -- sea salt ice cream, of course -- and who is she to argue with a proven cure like that?

She's just going to start rooting through the DR's kitchens, searching over freezers for a box of ice cream bars, though she has to admit, it's a little difficult to properly search when standing on her toes has her still a tad too short to really look.]

You'd think there'd be a big stock of these, [she mumbles, rubbing at the back of her neck with sigh.]

[ A while, huh... Wish he'd found her sooner. But all in all, especially when he sees that frown, his voice becomes stricken with determination. To make her smile again. ] But I found you, and we're together now.

[ Leaning a bit to get a better look at her face. Holding a little smile. ] And this time, I'll really be there.

[Xion turns to look at him, her expression melting back into that smile.] Thanks, Roxas. [She smiles softly, before her attention returns to her ice cream, and she leans just a bit against Roxas' shoulder.]

[ Her smile is back and it makes him relax. It really bothers him to see her worried. Nodding to her gratitude, he regains his focus on his own ice cream. Quickly attending to the droplets that are threatening to drip on his hand. Only to pause when he feels her leaning up against him.

He tenses just a moment in surprise. And then he's leaning just a little back in turn. Taking a bite of his ice cream and chewing thoughtfully. ]

If we're here though, I wonder if Axel is, too.

Maybe. [Xion nods as she licks at the bar of ice cream.] We should look for him, too.

Yeah... [ He nods a little at that. They really should. And then the three of them can have ice cream together again. Just like old times. ] We'll find him. [ Maybe. ]

Well... I found you. [ Something he... hadn't really been anticipating, admittedly. And yet there they were. ] So, it's possible. We'll just have to keep looking.

Yeah. [He was right, so she'd just have to believe they were going to find Axel, too.]

[ Well. He's at least trying to be right. Continuing to chip away at his ice cream... and then a thought occurs to him. ] So, where are you staying here anyway?

Nowhere, yet. I haven't got a room.

Huh, really? [ She must have gotten there sooner than he thought. Either that or she's just been so caught up trying to find them... He smiles mildly in amusement. Oh, Xion~ ]

Well... I have a room not far from here, if you want to stay there with me. [ They would need to find another bed, but it's no hassle to him. ]

[Xion perks up immediately at the offer.] I can stay with you? That sounds great!

/wanders off just for a bit. F-Fff. You lightning tag, dude.

[ Oh, that definitely gets a chuckle out of him. ] Well, why couldn't you? We're best friends, right? [ And that's what friends do. Stick together. Talk about things. Eat ice cream on the clock tower. Is rooming much of a stretch? Plus the dressing room is huge and overwhelming. To have familiarity... It's a really nice thing. ]

Right. [Her smile is even brighter, if possible.] What do we have to do so we can?

What do you... have to do? [ He looks pretty perplexed by that question. But then she hasn't been around long. Turning his ice cream around in his hands. ] Actually, you don't really have to do anything when you find a room here. Except... Well. Make sure no one else is using it.

Oh. [Well, that was nice and simple. Xion gave a little nod, and sucked the last of her ice cream from the stick.] That's pretty easy.

Yeah, it's pretty nice, too. They have all kinds of rooms. [ The sky's the limit, really. So, Xion. If you aren't a fan of the one he picked, they can always find another. He's just happy to have you around. ]

[Which makes for a very happy Xion.] Can I see yours?

Huh? Of course! Whenever you wanna go. We're going to be staying there together now anyway, right? [ So, shouldn't it be 'our room'? He likes the sound of that after living by himself for months on end here. ]

Right. [Xion's been lonely, anyway, but "lonely"'s still a strange concept to her.]

Yeah, so. We'll... How about we go after we finish up here? [ He could save a tour for later? Well... tourish. This place likes to change things up here and there and confuse its residents. ]

That sounds good to me. [She licks her stick, twirling it a little between her fingers.]

[ Roxas blinks at that. Since when did she...? And then he chuckles and gets to finishing his own ice cream. Just a few bites left. And all the while, he's wondering what they'll do now. He definitely... If he can find Axel, too, he would just rather stay there with them, honestly. This place isn't so bad. But he has to wonder if Xion feels the same way. ]

[Xion lets herself look over the edge of the roof, sucking a little on the stick.] This...place is kind of weird. It's not bad, though, right? I mean, you don't think it's bad?

[ He looks up as he polishes off the rest of his ice cream with a curious gaze. It almost feels like his unasked question reached her. ]

Nah... I don't think it is. I mean there's all kinds of different people here. Some you have to watch out for. But mostly? It's not so bad. Just weird.
