[it's odd how often this Sora winds up in the library. but with her Keyblade still out of commission, she's been spending a lot of time in here looking up other ways to defend herself. but that's not what she's doing today. no, today it's protective spells that are on her list! which is why she's precariously balanced on the top of a ladder, trying to get a book that's just out of her reach. it looks like it might be helpful.]

[ And Demyx will whirl into the library, intending on getting a nice book to try and keep her awake during the day-- though she'll stop up short once she notices.. Sora's interesting predicament. ]

[she hasn't noticed the company at all, and is just trying her best to reach the book. she can just barely touch it with how much she's stretched up to it, but it's not enough to get it down.]

[ What if a tiny portal appears behind the book, and with that a hand that pushes it a bit closer to the other girl? ]

[she's going to be... incredibly confused, but will finally manage to grab it, nearly tumbling off the ladder in the process.]

That the one you wanted, right?

[ leaning against the door hinge, hand still in portal. ]

[don't do that, Demyx! she shrieks and nearly falls again, having not reached the bottom of the ladder yet.]

U-Uh.

[ because she is totally going to help Sora with ladder issues. really. ]

Yes, no, maybe? I can bring the whole shelf down if you'd like ~

[ casually steps into the room. ]

What's so interesting about that book, anyway?

Oh... well, see, during the spell I thought I had a sister. Annnnd we were trying to look for protection spells 'cause her notebook got messed with. I figure, she was pretty nice, so I might as well keep trying to find something... this book just looked helpful.

[after all, it's titled "Magical Barriers and You".]

Oh, yeah, that spell. I'm surprised I wasn't related to you in some way, since it seemed like I was cousins to everyone in this place.

I don't think I was "related" to a whole lot of people...

Well, I had a father, brother, boyfriend, aunt, uncle and just about a thousand cousins.

Must've been pretty weird...

Hm, but I take it weirdness isn't very rare in this place.

[sorry if she seems fidgety or wary, Demyx. she hasn't really talked to a lot of you guys/girls, so she's still nervous. since she came in mid-Demyx fight and was getting her ass kicked and all.]

[ :| face, because this encounter is getting boring and yes, the last thing Demyx remembers is getting her ass killed. So excuse her if she seems snappy or abrupt. ]

[ amused tone is amused. ]

[she looks away, pretty embarrassed by her reaction to Demyx.]
