Keeping out more than bedbugs tonight...

[The sound of the adhesive peeling off of the backing is unbelievably loud, but necessary. So is taping up the door. Red strips of duct-tape are now lining the cracks of the door, with an extra piece covering the keyhole. It might be a pain to get it open later, but it would at least keep out much worse things. Even though he was blocking off his exit, it would be all worth it in the end.]

What are you doing?

[If this guy's anything like the last Marluxia she ran into she is going to leave if she gets any more creeped out.]

[Now you've confused her some. She reaches out and lightly runs her fingers over the door.]

How?

[Hello there, Marluxia. One of your doubles--one in casual clothes and a pink apron--is watching you.] Is there some reason your doing that?

Ghosts? I wasn't aware that tape could keep them at bay.

[At your other comment he looks down at the apron.] One must know how to cook when they live on their own, yes. Though this one is actualy for use during gardening. [He points out the pocket on the front.] Aside from keeping the dirt off my shirt, it's good for holding the packs of seeds and the like.

[Facinating idea, really. Red tape a spirit barrier.] I have to wonder how you came to learn any sort of tape works at all.

Organization? I can't say I know what your talking about.

[It's not that he doesn't remember, it's that for him it never happened.]
I can't say that I have.

[She nods and leans against the wall, still peeking in at the tape.]

I see.

I can imagine. lol

Do you mean my work or what I do in my free time? If it's the former, I run a flower shop in a place called Traverse Town. Or at least I did before I arrived here.

XD How so?

[identity profile] a-single-petal.livejournal.com 2010-11-13 06:15 am (UTC)(link)
I would probably have to be, considering.

So much piiiiiink, right? XD

[identity profile] a-single-petal.livejournal.com 2010-11-13 09:38 pm (UTC)(link)
I suppose that means you've lost yours then?

[There are those who have explained the concept to him a bit in the past, but the idea still seems very strange to him.]

True. >.> Took me ages just to find enough....

[identity profile] a-single-petal.livejournal.com 2010-11-13 10:15 pm (UTC)(link)
If that is what those without hearts call themselves, then yes. A few. Though it seems most are not too anxious to speak with me. So I can't say I've learned very much about those who no longer possess a heart.

I noticed that cuz I went and took a peek. ^__^ You did a good job.

I suppose I can understand why.

[He pauses, ponders something a moment and then poses a question.]

Are you new here or have you been here a while?
