[What's this? Why, it looks quite a bit like a young Red- maybe 10 or 11 at most. He's dressed in only a pair of ratty jeans, with dirty, bloody bandages covering most of his torso. He looks incredibly annoyed, though it turns into a mix of that and disbelief when he realizes this isn't where he was going.]

...what the hell?

[She's... not really surprised. Actually, she's trying to hide the small half-smile.]

[What is mature. He's just being careful.]

[Well he comes across as very mature. She kind of wonders what happened to that.]

Is there anything you want to ask?

[About this place, about her, etc...]

[Surprise, normal Red is reverting. No, what.]

...I don't think so.

[Panic? Who knows. Actually, he just thought of something.]

...who else lives in this hall?

[Quiet possible. She pauses when he asks, glancing back in the direction of her room.]

Several people. There are more rooms on the other halls... that way, and across from the main room, which is closer to where we came. There's another kid in the room across from mine.

[And. other people, mun has no idea who.]

[He nods, thoughtful. And for just a moment, there's a smile.]

[That makes her smile.]

Sure. I mean it, if you need anything else, just let me know.

[It's gone pretty quickly, though she may end up seeing more of it in the future.]

[That's okay, short smiles are still smiles. And she'd like that.

...now what should she do. She can't stand around and watch him all day. She should probably go find his older self and let him know. She still has no idea what this kid goes by.]

[He's glancing back toward 'his' room with a slight frown.]

I should go lie down before something else rips.

[She nods toward the door. Damn her lack of easy access to portals nowadays.]

[She gets a tiny wave, and he'll disappear behind that door.]

[And Riku is left wondering how something can be so cute and creepy at the same time. And apparently abused. Any smiles she had for him are gone as she leaves to find his older self.]
