[As usual, this year's party is held at the ball room. Dance music is already playing, mixed in together with creepy sounds and howls. The decorations are creepy at its best, and there are skeletal waiters walking around this time.

The tables are laden with food for various monsters, ghost, blood for the vampires, candy for the children, and normal food for those who are somewhat normal. Though if you're not in costume, that ugly fish sculpture at the giant punch bowl will spew a liquid at you rudely from it's mouth that will immediately put you into a random costume. If you keep hitting it, it will keep doing it, changing your costume into something worse every time.

Gatecrashers with bad intentions will be grabbed, wrapped and tossed out of the room by that giant spider up there on the ceiling, and it will also grab you if you're being selfish to the kiddies about giving them candy.

For those who lack dancing partners, some of those manakins are not there for show. Those will come to life and ~~harass~~ dance with you if you look a little lonely.

[ There's an angelic Kairi standing quietly by the wall, not looking quite as happy as she should, given the festivities and all. She likes Halloween, really. ]

[...Ooh, she's pretty. Very pretty, so Ven's going to head over to greet her.

Except she's the same age as--]

Kairi?

...hi, Ven.

[ She smiles, and it's warm in a way he's probably never seen before from her. Her eyes are blue, for once, too. ]

You're...

[It's strange, seeing her like this. Isn't Halloween supposed to be about creepy creatures that go bump in the night?

... Well, it doesn't matter. He'll return the smile, heading closer to her.]

[ Ven's obviously never seen children's Halloween costumes. She'll slip her hand in his as soon as he's close enough. He can probably feel the fact that she's all Light, this close. ]

[Ah, yeah. He feels it, and while it's great to see her full of light, he can't help but worry.]

Hey... You feeling okay?

I feel great.

[ The sad thing is, that's very much true. She feels better than she has in over a year. ]

[That... is both relieving and heartbreaking at the same time.

But he'll smile either way, pulling her into a hug.]

I'm glad.

[ She hugs him back tightly, not even really able to feel sad about the fact that this feeling won't last. ]

[He likes the warmth of her light right now, when his heart is being strangled by pseudo darkness. It's relieving, in a way.

Though, eventually, he'll step back and glance towards the dance floor.]

[ She notices that glance and smiles a bit. ]

Did you want to?

[He nods.]

Yeah! If you're okay with that, I mean.

I am. It'll be fun.

Great!

[He'll hold out his hand, ready to lead her to the dance floor at any time. c:]

[ She just hopes she doesn't end up whacking someone else on the dance floor with her wings! She'll take his hand, of course. ]

[He's...never danced with a girl before, so hopefully he won't mess up.

Once they're on the dance floor, he'll be wrapping an arm around her. c:]

[ She'll get into position for them to dance; she's pretty excited about this~. And won't care if Ven messes up, because it's Ven. ]

[Mm, this light is so warm.

But he's doing his best! Just taking it slow, trying not to trip over his own feet (which, fortunately, is pretty unlikely).]

[ She's just happy to be dancing with him, regardless of any mess-ups on either of their parts. ]

[Oh, he's happy, too. It's his first time dancing with a giiirl, and Kairi, to boot.

And he might be uh. Looking at dem eyes. He's really used to her yellow eyes, but the blue eyes are still really pretty!]
