[ Well, Riku's eating. It's one of those 'do in excess' routine things with the coming of the full moon, you know. There's a big plate of sandwiches where she is, all filled with meat and hardly anything else. What's she doing? Well, she's sitting in a large dining room, at the head of the table, leaning over a pad of paper. It looks like she's writing a list.

It looks like she got into another fight, too. Her hair's tossed over one shoulder, and there are several nasty bruises peppering her neck, in colors ranging from deep purple to red, blurred yellow edges smearing her skin. Huh. And they just keep going down. How weird. ]

[ooc: we maybe pretend this happened a few days ago. this could have happened any time this week um.]

[Here Roxas comes, lol comes strolling in with an empty, wicker basket in hand. He heads over the the pantry, giving Riku a nod when he sees her.]

[She doesn't even look up at him, completely lost in her own little world of list-writing. Someone should tell her that it's hard to write a list when all you're doing is staring at the paper.]

[He just goes about filling the basket with random snacks before glancing back over at her. He turns when he notices the bruises and suddenly looks a little worried. And then he notices them going lower.]

.... What did you do last night?

[Successfully surprised. Been there, done that, Riku. So don't even try and deny it.]

[Except this is Riku, and she totally is. Check out the shocked look plastered on her face when her head lifts.]

[His eyes dart down to those bruises and his lips just crack into a grin.]

There's only one way you can get bruises like that, Riku.

[She is either completely oblivious, or ignoring his look. One of the two.]

[well, he was GOING to just sit in the kitchen with this entire roast chicken, but following Riku's scent and eating lunch with her sounds like a lot more fun. he'll just park himself at the closest chair to her at the side of the table.]

Hey.

[Axel, you freak. Riku will glance at him briefly when he sits down, and lower the sandwich in her hand, a little surprised by his sudden appearance.]

[what, it's how he finds people. he's just going to start methodically dismantling the chicken, anyway.]

Whatcha doing in here? Besides eating and writing, obviously.

[That's nice. She'll just give him an odd look for it and turn back to her writing.]

You just said it all, I think.

Well, yeah, but... I dunno, it's just unusual for you, it seems like.

[oh hey when did he come up behind you? guess whose finger just barely brushed over one of those nasty-looking bruises, Riku.]

Riku? Are you okay?

[sdlfkjga don't touch her there-- Riku whips around, moving a hand to her neck immediately.]

--yeah, I'm fine. Hey, Roxas.

Are you sure? Those look like they hurt.

[dawnrise]

[She blanks for a minute, because why Roxas, of all people. Then she just... shakes her head.]

I'm sure. They don't hurt.

[Anymore.]

You didn't get stuck in..

[his voice drops down to a whisper, and he glances around to be sure no one is listening]

[Someone picked up the delicious scent of meat and so he decided to follow it, blindly wandering into the dining room... until he catches the scent of Riku and someone else... huh. Well, then.

He's just going to quietly take a seat over to her left and. Observe her for a moment. He's weighing his options on whether he should ask first or just steal a piece.]

[Lucky him, Riku's senses recognize him instantly, so he won't have to do either. Her eyes lift up to look at him when he sits down, and she uses one hand to slide the plate in his direction. She doesn't mind sharing.]

Thanks. [He tucks in eagerly, but manages to not stuff his face this time.]

[She offers up a small smile and bites into her own sandwich. She's not sure if he gets the same effect around the full moon, but hey, she's got enough after already having eaten half the super-stacked plate.]

[Well, he's got his own share of hunger... especially for the other kind, but it's a good thing he's got someone to take care of his "needs".

It's been a while since he was able to share a meal peacefully like this, so he tries to savor every bit of it by slowing down a little. And making sure he doesn't eat the whole plate because heck, that's just rude. He tries to smile back around a mouthful of meat, realizes he failed, swallows, and then tries again.]
