[it's easy to overlook this one. the pale girl blends in with the white hallway. she sits silently against the wall and keeps her head down, arms hugging a sketchbook to her body. while she knows she'll get in trouble if the organization finds her out here, being unproductive, she thinks if she gets up to try to find her way back, she'll run into the organization along the way and get in trouble then. either way, she's screwed.]

[she leans forward, trying to find his eyes again.]

You don't like the way things are where you come from either, then?

[...Looks back at her...And nods.]

...Yeah.

[what's strange is that he reminds her of sora in a subtle way, but the "happiness" seems to have already run out. naminé will keep her eyes locked with his unless he looks away again.]

You're not faking it... Something about your home really upsets you.

[a nobody with true emotions? she's surprised vexen didn't keep him at the castle...]

[He'd like to look away. But for some reason, doesn't. Most likely because Namine's keeping her eyes locked on his and is keeping him from doing so.]

.....My best friend...He died.

[He'll be honest with her. He doesn't see any reason why he shouldn't.]

[naminé wishes she could understand the feelings he must be having. she knows that it must be bad, whatever he's feeling, but she's never even had a friend before and certainly not a best friend. she does know how sora feels about riku and kairi, though. if one of them died, a part of him would die too. naminé frowns.]

What happened to him?

[And this is where the anger comes in. His eyes narrow and his voice lowers to a harsh whisper.]

He sacrificed himself, to save. Sora.

[naminé recoils, pulling her eyes away from him. she stares down at her sketchbook.]

You... You really were one of them.

[you're scaring her, roxas. you may not be as scary as marluxia, but that tone tells her that you're capable of some pretty awful things.]

[He's just angry because everything that ever meant anything to him was taken away. By everyone. Bad guys. Good guys. Either way.

But he notices that he's scared her, and immediately snaps out of it, looking away.]

...I'm sorry. I just...I cant forgive them.

[He's not helping much is he?]

[she's watching him warily for the first few seconds after his apology. she thinks he must really mean it, so she starts feeling a little braver, slowly leaning forward again.]

Do you mean the Organization?

[he's more helpful than he might think.]

...Them. Diz. And, I know he never meant for all this to happen, but Sora too.

He's the reason I exist. But.. I'm not allowed to exist. Everything I ever had, was taken away, so Diz could force me to join with Sora again.

[He's going to sit down with his back against the wall, giving her some space as well though, in case she decides she doesn't want to trust him after all that.]

[it's hard not to trust someone she can finally relate to. she doesn't recognize the name diz, but she can identify with some of what he's saying.]

We were never meant to exist.

[but they do exist. naminé watches him, trying to gauge his reaction.]

Are you Sora's Nobody...?

[...Nods.]

Yeah...

[No point in denying it. As much as he wants to be his own person. He's still Sora's nobody. That wont ever change.]

[that's all she needs. she trusts him now, and whether or not she should won't be a question she'll ask herself. naminé believes roxas must be good even if he does have an occasional outburst. she smiles, though it may not be entirely appropriate.]

I wanted to meet you.

[Well this seems awfully familiar. Still, he can help but give a little smile in return.]

Me?

Yes, you.

[the girl is scooting closer.]

[...Derp. Awkward head scratch. He's still not good with girls. What.]

[what about girls? all she's doing is sitting beside him. except now that he's scratching his head, she feels obligated to say something.]

I thought you might be out there somewhere, but I didn't think you'd be with the Organization. I didn't think you'd be so close.

[She is a girl. And he is a derp. Also he's has many awkward moments in the DR. Some more traumatizing than awkward. But that's another story.]

They found me when I was, 'born'. Took me in and taught me what I needed to know.

But...Well. In the end I had to leave.

[Shrug.]

[she's pretty derpy herself, so no one's judging. she wants to reach for his hand because it feels like what kairi might have done, but she doesn't. naminé's still shy, so roxas was probably just spared from another awkward moment.]

Had to?

[He might be okay with hand holding. His awkward moment mostly consist of walking in on a female friend who happens to only be wearing her underwear at the time.

Or nothing but ribbons. :|]

I didn't want to stay there. I couldn't. I'm glad I left.

[what kind of streaker friends do you have, roxas? naminé is keeping her hands to herself. and her sketchbook.]

Where did you go? I've never been outside of Castle Oblivion.

[It's the DR's fault!...Mostly.]

...Eventually, I decided to go back to try to stop Xemnas, and free all the Hearts the Organization had collected, but Riku found me. He defeated me, and he and Diz locked me in a simulated Twilight Town with new memories until I had to merge with Sora.

[~~so when's roxas going to go streaking?~~ naminé stares, trying to comprehend the story. "new memories" sound pretty suspicious, though.]

I'm sorry.

[~~Clearly it needs to happen soon~~ Yeah. He sort of knows Namine had something to do with what happened. But let's face it. He cant blame her. She was the only one who bothered to actually be honest with him.]

It's alright. Don't worry about it.

[~~maybe it'll make roxas more comfortable around girls.~~ she smiles.]
