lost again, little boy?
[Here's a young man that might look familiar to some, wandering the halls with a pensive expression on his face. As he makes his way along ever so slowly he casts a wary glance to his left, and then to his right, repeating this process every so often.
Passing by an open door he peers into a room, starts, and glaps a gloved hand over his face (that's turning scarlet with record timing), hurrying away. He's not sure what those people were just doing and he...doesn't think he wants to know.
So it's back to shuffling along quietly. He rubs a hand over a scarlet brand on the back of his neck that just peeks out over his clothing, huffing out a quiet sigh]
What sort of place is this..?
[ooc: Say hello to your own little bit of ancient history. Keir here's from the days of conflict leading to the Keyblade War. Bit of background's in his userinfo and fellow precanoners are always awesome, just sayin'.
P.S. feel free to be that naughty couple accidentally peeped on]

[he nods, wondering how to explain.]
It'd be easier to learn about it from a book. How it started, I mean. At least on some worlds. Basically, at the end of October, there's a whole lot of scary stuff that happens. So if you see monsters that aren't Heartless or Heartless-like, chances are they won't be anything to worry about unless they're actually attacking people.

[MONSTER MATING SEASON!?]

I must say, this sounds no less strange than partial worlds inside rooms.

To be fair, there is actually a world built around Halloween. It's another partial world room, even.

[He wouldn't want to trouble you after all, Sir]

[...said as someone who's lived in the DR for over two years now. but unless you're not fit, it shouldn't be long, so.]

Keir doesn't necessarily need one, don't worry. this one was previously thought of. :P]Here we go.

Mis- [woops] Kai, Sir?
[...This may take some doing]

[he glances back; his face looks much paler, dark circles under his eyes and everything. he's not sure what the problem is for a moment, but then he smiles.]
What, the costume thing? That's normal for Halloween Town. Some peoples' outfits change when they enter.

[Keir isn't entirely sure what he wants to think of that, but he'll cautiously venture into the room nevertheless-
At least until he realizes those clinks and clanks are coming from him. Looking down at himself in puzzlement, he finds that his clothes have become a suit of black armor, all sharp edges and unpleasantly taut straps, the tattered remains of a cape hanging behind him like a forlorn spider's web]
Strange sorcery indeed.

It is. Magic is very strange, very different here.
