[Here is a sight that has been uncommon lately; Ri is wandering down the hallway without any laundry or a child with him. Anyone who's caught a glimpse of him lately probably saw him with baby Kira in a chest carrier, but she's with her Mama and siblings at the moment. And without the constant presence of one of his children, Ri's Darkness is spiking up again.

The one good thing is that his face is buried in a home improvement magazine as he wanders through the halls.]

*and his fingers twitch, a blade appearing in both hands -- one is obviously a magic-strong blade, and is infused with Light -- a gift from Mama back home that casts Protect, Shell, Veil and Vigilance at the first sign of danger (overprotective Mama is overprotective); the other is colossally strong in Dark technique*

*he still hasn't switched to Dark Mode, and he's still got a hand in his pocket, just watching you*

*he twirls his blades around in his hands, and with only a split second's notice, he's running at you -- it's fairly obvious he's going to rely on Fire magic first, with the way the blades are slowly glowing red*

*after he just admitted that he loves abusing the Dark version of that spell, that's sort of a bad move since he's built up resistance; you and/or your spell is going to smash right into his Dark Barrier*

*oh, that gets under his skin a bit Daddy*

*luckily, he is a great dark knight and he charges his energy for a moment, and...*

*that would've worked, if it had connected; but instead Ri practically disappears, dropping through a portal he opened at his feet and appearing behind you a heartbeat after you finish your attack... you'll feel his rolled up magazine tapping the side of your neck*

*he's more embarrassed than anything by that praise, and he swings his blades around, waiting on you to do something*

*he throws up a quick shield again as he backsteps away from your blades, getting out of striking range*

*he's quick-running to close in on you, dropping a series of dark mines that track your movement*

*he air slides away, keeping an eye on the mines as he dodges your charge; though he still hasn't pulled out his own blade or gone Dark Mode yet*

*he rolls his eyes*

It's kind of hard to fight you unless you've got your blade out.

*he just gives you a smile, tapping the rolled up magazine in his hand*

I can fight without a blade. I got the first point already. Shall I make it two?

*in that case, he's coming at you at top speed with his blades crossed and prickling just a bit with electricity -- just as he gets to you, he jumps as high as he can, drawing the blades together and calling down an intense lightning storm*

*he attempts to dodge that one but the magic hits anyway; luckily, he's got high electricity resistance as well, and manages to move so your blades don't hit him*

*he lands behind you and pants softly once or twice*
