[ In one of the forest rooms that doesn't see a lot of use, Riku's busying herself diligently tying a very thick rope around a very thick tree. She's having noticeable difficulty getting the knots as tight as she wants, which is strange, considering she's normally very good at it. But her hands are shaking abnormally hard. In fact, her entire body seems to be trembling from her head down to her toes - it's most noticeable in her hands and shoulders, but it's everywhere. The tree she's at is a good distance from the door, and her shaking is visible even from there.

She's wearing old, torn jeans and a sleeveless shirt and no shoes whatsoever, and she doesn't look very good even without the shaking. There's a strange pale tone to her face that looks unnatural, and her movements are jerky, like she's holding herself back. ]

[[ooc: back-dated a bit to the early evening of the 23rd, just a little while before nightfall. ~~anyone want to be infected--~~]]

Need a hand?

[He's back to being male by now, dressed in his normal clothing with his hands in his jacket pockets and hood up. His hood's not up for any specific reason, so she doesn't have to worry about him being hurt or something.]

[She twists roughly to look at him, eyes sharp and wide, her hands gripping the rope tightly.]

... Yeah. Way to cut it close.

Sorry.

[He makes his way over, and will take over with the knot tightening and tying.]

[She'll move away from him immediately once he has his hands on it, moving to grab more rope -- there's a pile of them about ten feet away.]

[At least if he takes too long, he can probably wrestle her down while she's still freshly transformed and finish tying her down or. something. Since he doesn't have to worry about infection.]

[Just losing a limb! Once she's brought them over to him (which is very easy despite how heavy they are), she's leaning against the tree and closing her eyes. She's still shaking, and now her arms are crossed, her nails digging into the skin of the opposite. She kind of looks like she's going to throw up.]

[He's not saying anything as he works, just frowning faintly at the situation as a whole.]

What do I look like when I turn?

[That was sudden, but it's important.]

Well, you're bipedal. Mostly, anyway, unless you're moving a lot. Very wolfish, not exactly a horror movie "wolfman."

Sounds better than I thought. You should take a picture for me.

[She's being sarcastic.]

I might. You're pretty fluffy.

Fluff-- You're kidding.

[Werewolves aren't fluffy.]

Well, fluffy for a werewolf.

[He's still doing stuff with the ropes, by the way.]

If I take a picture, you can see for yourself.

On second thought, maybe I don't want to know.

[Leaning pretty heavily on that tree, Riku.]

I asked because you'll have to figure out the best way to tie me on your own. And fast.

I see.

[Good thing he'd already had something in mind, huh. Will she cooperate once he starts trying to position her for being tied up?]

[Yes. Though he should notice when he touches her that her skin is burning.]

[He's not very surprised by that and makes no comment, instead making sure the bindings are in place and not about to get loose with any pulling.]

[He should also be able to feel the way her muscles are continuously jumping. Maybe it's nerves.]

...are you almost done?

[There's an impatient edge to her voice. A growl, almost.]

Just about.

[Sorry, he was trying to figure out the best way to do this without causing injury to Riku when she transforms from the ropes being too tight or something.]

[Make them just slightly loose? Hell if she knows, but she's not paying attention to that. She appears to have broken into a sudden sweat, and shifts her shoulders as much as she can against the tree.]

[He finishes off the final knot, tightening it and stepping back to watch.]

[This isn't much of a show. She's just moving against the ropes, trying to keep breathing normally before it really hits her.]

What are you going to do-- if I get loose again?

I've got a gun.

[With both tranquilizers and silver bullets in his jacket, since he's not sure if the tranqs would do the job.]

Could you do it again?

[She's dead serious about this. If he can't, she wants him to find someone else as a stand-by. She's kicking herself right now for not doing it before.]

[He pulls the case of tranquilizers from his pocket, popping it open so she can see what's in there.]

With luck, I won't have to.
