[Either the game room didn't get hit by the flood, or the electronics in it are already back in working order, because Red is currently occupying one of the racing game chairs. He's looking much healthier than he did when he first started coming back around, and the dressing room has turned him female yet again. It's an ongoing thing.

Oh, and for some reason he's dressed like this, complete with the hat and coat.]

Not at all.

[right, he's... easing out from behind the couch, slowly. he still isn't very comfortable with the idea of who or what Red is, but the sound of the racing game behind him doing a demo has grabbed his attention.]

Do you mean how do you win, or how does it... run?

[he almost goes a little cross-eyed trying to think about how to run something like that, shaking his head a bit to clear it. if he starts trying to figure things like that out they'd be there all day.]

How do you play it?

You sit in the chair and control your car with the steering wheel. There are pedals to make you go and stop.

That doesn't sound hard.

Maybe you should give it a try.

[he does look awfully tempted. he shifts his weight from one foot to the other, waffling over it as his eyes dart from the game to Red. he'd have to get past Red to try it, and he's still a little iffy about that.]

There's even a way for more than one person to race at the same time, if you want to play against a human instead of the AI.

[he isn't even going to ask about AI.]

Yep. Or go find a friend or something.

I don't really.. have a lot of friends. Most of them went home or disappeared, except Kai or Riku. She might want to, maybe...

She's played before, at least.

Mmhm. I raced her and everything.

[he's so sure Riku can do anything]

Hmmmm nope, don't remember that happening.

What? You mean you beat her?

[where is his jaw? oh there it is, on the floor over there.]

Why is that so surprising? It's a game, no one's guaranteed to win.

[not that he's known a whole lot of people, personally. but he remembers her fighting off that giant rat very well.]
