[Off in one of the larger areas of the Dressing Room, there's a rather loud splash, followed by a sizable tidal wave - the sort you get when something big is forced to crash land in a body of water.

In this case, 'something large' would be about 80 feet of dragon.]

((Yeah, so I have weird AU ideas sometimes :|a))

[ There was the figure of a large man on the back of the dragon -- the harness strapped onto it should make it obvious that it had an owner, at least. It wasn't wild, and it was because the Captain made sure it wouldn't bite, unless he ordered it to.

He didn't expect rain today, and neither did he expect to land in a room, one that once looked like a place to rest, relax and rejuvenate. It was a mess with the flood.
]

Where have you taken me?

Look for dry land.

[ That was an order. He enjoyed rain, but not the part where it floods. Infact, he faced upward to let the water hit his face. It was relaxing. ]

Don't disappoint, Xigbar.

[identity profile] warpingflight.livejournal.com 2010-09-18 03:28 am (UTC)(link)
Don't start now.

[ It isn't seen, but there's a small grin on his face as well. Now, let's see how long it'll take the dragon to look for somewhere less wet. He expects results, of course. ] Is there any familiar scent?

[identity profile] warpingflight.livejournal.com 2010-09-18 04:00 am (UTC)(link)
Check the next room. Perhaps there will be familiarity.

[ The door was too small for a dragon. The answer should be obvious what to do.</small. ]

[Whoa that big splash got her attention so here come a blue-haired girl of about fifteen in drenched pink pajamas, and this is relevant to her interests because if she's not reading martial arts history books or science books, she's reading books on dragons.]

Oh my God....

[identity profile] valgusti.livejournal.com 2010-09-18 04:12 am (UTC)(link)
[Desiree nods emphatically and giggles.]

Yes! Um..can I pet you?

[figures asking is good, she's afraid he'd bite her hand off otherwise.]

[identity profile] valgusti.livejournal.com 2010-09-18 04:26 am (UTC)(link)
[Desi splashes a bit closer and reaches up to pet Xigbar's nose. No she wouldn't recognize his voice because she's kept to herself a lot after she was tortured and hasn't run into any Xigbars anyway. When she speaks, her voice is soft and full of awe.]

I've never seen a real dragon before...what's your name? I'm Desiree.

[identity profile] warpingflight.livejournal.com 2010-09-18 04:27 am (UTC)(link)
[ Xaldin sees it too. He doesn't need to say a word, right? ]

[identity profile] valgusti.livejournal.com 2010-09-18 04:41 am (UTC)(link)
[It's like she's totally forgotten about the flood...untill a stray wave makes her almost lose her balance and get some water up her nose.]

Oh um...nice to meet you, Xigbar. Sorry for the mess, you got here right when this place decided to be a pain in the rear.

[She looks around for a door to someplace with enough high ground that they can get out of the water, she's probably going to end up with a hell of a cold once his is over....]

[identity profile] valgusti.livejournal.com 2010-09-18 04:57 am (UTC)(link)
They don't last very long anyway, either way, longest anything like this has lasted was about three days. \

[Not remembering that aphrodisiac cupcake incident with a friend of her, hellllll no XD]

[identity profile] warpingflight.livejournal.com 2010-09-18 05:16 am (UTC)(link)
[ Xaldin made sure to hold on tight. He knew Xigbar would listen, but that never meant he was lax about the situation. They weren't in France, the rest of the troops were gone -- they needed a place to stay. Somewhere high and dry, out of the rain that is.

He assumed they were in the outside world, of course.

Well yeah, that was my first thought too when I first got here and was stuck in one.

[Still in awe, but looking for someplace higher to get on so she doesn't end up sicker than she knows she will once this is over.]
