[ The first to notice will be those near the beach, where lightning cracks through the sky and thunder roars loud, heavy rain pounding the sand. The ocean churns violently, washing up on shore several feet higher than usual. At the exact same point in time, several of the gardens are experiencing a lighter rain. Most 'outdoor' rooms share the same weather, and those that don't show signs of a coming storm.
It's two minutes later when patches of the roof start to leak. Water trickles down from the ceiling in the hallways, and leaks from beneath
locked doors. Anyone caught taking a shower will notice the drain seems plugged -- the water simply won't go down.
One minute later, a loud, ominously wooden groan can be heard. A door bursts at the end of several halls, and then another, and another, and another, each spilling out a flood of water that doesn't seem to end. Furniture will be knocked askew and anyone caught in the water's path may very well be swept away. ]
