[With an obnoxious clatter of things falling on the ground and thankfully not breaking, the sound would lead any people strolling along towards the kitchen. There on the counter is a fourteen year old boy sitting contently on the counter with the cookie jar in his lap, chowing down on chocolate chip cookies.

The earlier noise? There's a mess of empty pans on the ground. Whoops, it seems that climbing and making space was more of a priority than keeping the kitchen clean.]
