[ In a relatively silent hall of the dressing room, the sudden sound of a wall splitting seems to come from nowhere. Cracks weave across the surface like a spider's web, making the wall tremble and shake. Dark sand leaks from the narrow openings, a small precursor for what comes next -- part of the wall crumbles away and a small mountain of sand spills from it, carrying in a young woman with silver hair.

She's barefoot, dressed in plain black robes, and appears to be unconscious as she comes to a stop splayed across the floor. Half-buried in sand though she still is, it's a familiar face she brings back. ]

[She shrugs, forcing a half-smile.]

I think it might be about time for me to sleep, finally.

[It has to. Riku looks surprised that he's bringing it up, but nods, stepping back to put some more room between them.]

Good. You look like you need it.

[\o/ He nods, too, moving to the hallway.]

Probably won't last very long, but whatever.

[She tilts her head.]

You don't think so?

[before]

That or I'll be out cold for a week. But I doubt it'll be that one.

[dawnrise]

[And her eyes narrow a bit at that.]

I think I'll come check on you.

When?

[How long is too long for sleeping?]

[dawnrise]

Every hour.

[No, she's not serious. Look, a shrug!]

When I think you need checking on.

[Also, when she thinks he needs to eat.]

[He snorts at that, stuffing his hands in his pockets.]

So, sooner rather than later, then.

[Another shrug!]

You'll just have to wait and see.

[He will be lucky if he goes fifteen hours without seeing her.]

[Is she going to walk him to his room, too. :|]

[She's considering it. :|]

Well, see you, in that case?

[Now or never, Riku!]

[dawnrise]

[Damn damn damn. She makes a little gesture with her hand and starts after him.]

I'll walk with you. I have to go around anyway.

[before]

[Shrug! Whatever, he doesn't mind.]

Alright.

[dawnrise]

[Well get moving, buster. She doesn't really have anything else to say, so more gesturing will happen. She's been struck by Thoughtful Silence.]

[Oh no, not Thoughtful Silence! That can be deadly. Or something. He'll start walking, silent as well.]

[dawnrise]

[Damn right. And so they have a fairly uneventful walk that will serve to make Riku absolutely sure he is going to his room. Not that she needs it. For once, she actually trusts him.]

[before]

[Trust is lovely~. And he was indeed going to go straight to his room, so she wouldn't have had to worry anyway. Once there, he stops at the door, spiders chilling along the top of the frame.]

[dawnrise]

[Don't you tilde at me. Riku stops to eye the spiders with something like vague amusement, then rolls her eyes and turns to Red.]

Sleep well.

Thanks. Good luck catching up on stuff.

[He shoots her a smile, then opens the door, though he pauses before he's closed it behind him again, glancing back at her.]

I'm glad you're back.

[dawnrise]

[That makes her pause, a little surprised because it came out of nowhere, but then she smiles too.]

Thanks. So am I.

[Well, he wanted to say it before he shut the door. Which he's doing now, so he can go to bed. Which he's not procrastinating on!]
