What use is a puppet?

[There's a new doorway along this hall, and Cloud's decided to investigate it, in case it's dangerous.

However, there doesn't seem to much danger in a room filled with stationery supplies. He's checking everything, of course, but apart from someone perhaps accidentally stapling their hand, this room won't cause much trauma.

Well, physically, anyway. Because there is no mirror in this room, he hasn't seen the words that appeared on his forehead the moment he stepped into the room.

(ooc: Another version of a truth room/spell, this room causes what a person really thinks about themselves to be written on their forehead, good, bad, whatever. These words may change depending on a person's mood/who they talk to, but they can't be removed, except by leaving the room. And, of course, this post is for threadhopping!)

[Frowns a bit, before smiling and taking one of his hands in both of her own, DETERMINED appearing, but not replacing SLIGHTLY INSECURE.]

[And everything disappears for a second, then WANT flashes for a moment before being replaced by DISEASED and WEAK. Seems like he disagrees.]

[She was still kinda blinking a bit at that WANT, but frowns the moment she sees what replaces it.]

You're not weak, Cloud. And we will find a way to fix this.

[One of her hands moves to gently touch his arm with the Geostigma.]

[He just groans. He's not even talking and they're having a conversation. His forehead, however, now shows HOPE, albeit smaller than the other words have been.

And then, tentatively, he puts his own hand over hers.]

[Her blush just increased, and she bites her lip a little, NERVOUS, and DETERMINED joining HOPE and FOND.

Also, were they this close a moment ago? She cant remember. Oh well.]

[He can't remember either. Not that he's complaining. His hand over hers squeezes just a little and he moves a tiny bit closer and pauses. UNSURE...

[Her brain is kinda on auto pilot by now. As she'd normally be too shy to even get this close. But that's probably a good thing. Considering she'd normally not be able to gather enough confidence to lean forward and gently place a kiss on the corner of his mouth.

Sure, she wont be able to believe that she just did that. But hey, she did it. Now, to discover the consequences.]

[For a moment, both his mind and his face are blank, still processing what just happened. Idly he wonders whether, if it was Zack instead of him, his forehead would say SCORE.

Thankfully, that's not what shows up on his own face. Instead, it's DISBELIEF and LUCKY. With his other hand he reaches up and holds some of Tifa's hair, not sure how to respond other than a very slight upturn at the corners of his mouth.]

[There had been SHOCK and NERVOUS and DISBELIEF and more SHOCK and NERVOUS after what she did, continuing until something finally showed up on his face as well. Then there's RELIEF and HAPPINESS and hey, FOND again.]

...You know, that poker face of yours is kinda scary sometimes.

[FOND has decided to make it's way onto his face as well, whilst he unconciously twirls the strand of hair a little. He's silent for a moment.]

...It comes in handy sometimes. [No he doesn't always get jokes. Bear with him.]

[Smiles, closing her eyes and shaking her head just slightly. AMUSED has found it's way back, but HAPPY and FOND are still the main things right now.]

[Well now he's CONFUSED but oh well. He's going to be very brave right now and... touch her lightly on her cheek. Oh geez blushinggggg.]

[She opens her eyes again and looks up at him, HOPEFUL making it's way onto her forehead.]

[He doesn't notice that, sorry, he's very fixated on his thumb right now. Somehow it's taking a lot of effort for him to brush it up the side of her face towards her ear.]

[Smiles, PATIENCE showing up on her face now. She likes to think that she knows Cloud well. Well enough to know that this sort of thing was never something he dealt with reasonably well, and that this has been a very big step for him. She's happy enough just knowing that that little kiss of hers hadn't scared him away completely. She's very CONTENT right now.]

[Once he reaches her ear, he brushes over her earring before taking his eyes off his thumb and looking back into her face properly. Well, so far so good, right? He's still a bit NERVOUS but he brushes her fringe away and leans up to kiss her lightly on her forehead.]

[Closes her eyes, enjoying the closeness, and after a moment, moving closer to wrap her arms around him, resting her head against his chest.]

[Incredibly RELIEVED, and after an initial pause he returns the gesture, still a little red.]

[She's perfectly CONTENT to stay like this for who knows how long.

And what do you mean oblivious much? Of course, he's a guy. On top of that, he's Cloud.]
