[things have not been going too fantastically for this girl. she hasn't found the answers she's been so desperately looking for, and to make matters worse, is incredibly mad at herself for breaking a promise to herself that she'd made back in December. so now she's training in the simulation room, and the training looks pretty harsh. she's taking a bit of a beating from the number of Heartless in there, but she's going strong, and the only magic she's using is the occasional Cure. she's not a masochist, nor does she think she "deserves" the pain for breaking that promise; she's just mad right now and wants to hit things.]

[No surprises that the future girl's attracted to the simulation room. Rafale's wandered down - normal clothes, light blue and lavender sports gear, just the metal pack on her arm left - and stops as soon as she realises what's going on.]

Ah! Uh, sorry! I didn't mean to disturb things!

[she gets smacked aside by a Wyvern as she's distracted by the voice, hitting the ground with a grunt. the simulation pauses, as she'd told it to do whenever she fell. she just wanted to hit things, after all, not get swarmed.]

[she's going to... go turn the simulation off, sigh.]

[Excuse is go!] I used to go to the public sim rooms all the time to train back home. Didn't have the space or cash to have one of our own... and it'd have been weird having mom or dad walk in when I was fighting stuff. [Laugh.]

I guess it would be. If there was something like this at home, my dad probably would've just thought I'd made the creatures up. Me and Riku would have fake swordfights all the time when we were younger with wooden swords.

Cool! None of my friends were ever really into that kind of thing...

There wasn't a whole lot to do on Destiny Islands. Some of our other friends could fight, too, but they didn't use swords.

That's cool, too. But aww- [She tries to think of what she knows about the Destiny Islands of her era, but draws a blank.] What was it like there? Quiet kind of place?

Mm, yeah. It was a pretty small world. Nothing really exciting ever happened until the Heartless came.

[A frown.] That's a shame. Shouldn't have had to be that way. But I guess that's Heartless for you.

Yeah. It's okay, though, because the worlds that were troubled or destroyed all got fixed.

They did? Well, I guess they must have, or I wouldn't be around now ... I just hope things work the same when I get things sorted out.

[A bit of a laugh-] Yeah. And we're here to make them work out, right?

[she pauses, though, and frowns.]

I hope it's not too hard when I go back. I don't want to mess up.

It ... shouldn't be, should it? [She frowns.] I mean, you told me time stands still - so if you were handling things when you got here, you should be able to when you get back? Right?

Yeah, but I came in at kind of an awkward moment. I was... well, kind of in the middle of getting my butt kicked, actually.

[she's pretty embarrassed by that, and is looking away.]

If I'm not ready when I go back, she might get the jump on me, since no time will have passed for her and she'd still be in the middle of fighting me.

Ah. Okay... that does sound a bit. Uh. Awkward. ... Like you said, right.

Yeaaah... I can't say I'm entirely looking forward to it, even if I want to go home.

[after a moment, she glances at Rafale, kind of uncertain.]

Can I talk to you about the Keyblade apprentice stuff?

[She blinks.] Huh? Sure! So... [shuffle.] Anything in particular?

Uh. We covered this once... [she closes her eyes in thought for a moment.] Mind if I get things comfy here? It's not a long story, or maybe that's just me being bad at history... it might just be a bit easier.
