drag me from the fire;
[how unfortunate for anyone in this particular common area tonight; there's a muffled pop followed by Axel appearing in midair, briefly suspended as if hung by his wrists from something, before he falls the five or six feet to the floor and lands hard, limbs twisted under him. he's unconscious, and looks like someone who's been stranded in a desert with no night, or who's been sitting far too close to a bonfire for too long. his clothing is in shreds, full of scorched holes with crispy black edges. he could almost pass as a mummy, albeit a fried one; his body sunken and gaunt, skin flushed an angry red and peeling over the bony places close to the surface, mouth half-open for the shallow, faltering breaths he's still managing to take through cracked lips. there are blistered wounds on his wrists, and slightly closer inspection will reveal that the ring on his left hand is almost embedded in the skin, cooling from a barely-there glow of heat with every passing second. somewhere in the dressing room, there's a matching ring that should be cooling as well, now that Axel's home.]

Axel!!
[-but it is and he knows it, which is why he's dashing the rest of the way to him and crashing to his knees, forcing out as much Light as he dares to heal him as much as he possibly can at once.]
no subject
That's- That's not really him, is it?
no subject
no subject
[he doesn't know what to do, he can't heal this, he hasn't even ever seen anything like this before. it's all he can do to focus his mind and Light on something else, on calling for Itoko because he needs help.]
no subject
We can't leave him here, but can we even move him?
no subject
You have to. He has very serious heat stroke, and it must be taken care of in the proper manner, which does not include staying out here on the floor, in the open.
no subject
O-Okay.
no subject
Maybe... If we use a sheet. Then we can move him onto it and it'll be easier on him until we can get him to your bed.
no subject
To care for him, we will need... thin sheets, and water, and... if possible, one of those things medical types have sometimes, with the needle that goes into the arm, and the bag of water. I saw it after Axel had a mission in the desert, and his partner got very sick from the heat.
no subject
[but sheets and water are easy.]
no subject
[he's feeling more frazzled than he looks; he doesn't know how to set up a drip either, and has no idea where to even begin looking for one. if there's a doctor-type here, he doesn't know them.]
no subject
It should be simple enough. Just find a vein in his arm and put the needle in, I think, and then attach the bag of water. I didn't watch the Yonbi's host do it, but that's all it looked like.

Here- I'll get his feet if you get his shoulders.

[he's being very, very careful, of course, because he doesn't want Axel anymore hurt than he is, even if he's unconscious.]

I'm going to get the- thing.
no subject
[he's worried something might happen, and Itoko doesn't have hands. what if she'd need them? instead he's fussing with Axel's head, easing a pillow beneath it carefully.]
no subject
When you go to get the water, we will need a large bowl as well. The additional sheets will need to be soaked in the water and laid over him.
[and now she's going to carefully grab the remains of some of Axel's clothing and start ripping it so she can pull it off of him. :D]

[he's pulling out some spare sheets to do just that as Kai comes in, looking relieved and not questioning where he found what they needed.]
no subject
[she also looks relieved that Kai managed to find something, and moves out of the way so Kai can sit on the bed for it if he wishes.]
