[Ienzo is confused, and rightfully so. One moment he's eating breakfast and the next he's in the middle of an unfamiliar hallway.]

What? [He blinks and looks from side to side, more curious than frightened by the abrupt change of scenery.]

Maybe I'm still asleep? [And he starts walking down the hallway, wondering what sort of dream this is.]

You know I said this place is kind of outside the worlds? It's outside of all worlds. All timelines. Parallel universes. There's - duplicates of people here. Including me and you. ...Although most of them are older, for whatever reason.

[Well, why not? It ignores time and space so why not dimensions as well? He can't wait to explore this place and see just what facinating things it holds.]

I can hardly believe a place like this exists and we never knew. I wonder how it manages not to close in on itself... A place like this would have to be pretty unstable.

Honestly, I've no idea how it works, and I've been trying to work it out since I got here. People just say 'magic', but that's only half an answer...

Right. There's a lot of different types of magic but it would have to be pretty strong magic to hold a world like this together.

Of course, now you have me here to help you. Two heads are better than one. We'll figure out how it works. Or at the very least how to leave.

Yeah. I keep hearing people just say 'magic' like it's a universal answer. Like it doesn't nead any more explaining. I mean, you know it better than me? But it's not as simple as that...

Magic's far from simple... I haven't heard of anything that sounds like it would come close to supporting something this big.
