[remember the scream that came with this guy's return? there's another one, from somewhere much closer to the main area of the dressing room.

of course, it's coming from a darkened room where some generic slasher film is playing. nothing to see here but a guy smoking and watching a movie, folks.

there's no blood smeared across one of the walls. it certainly doesn't look like it was smeared by the hand of someone being thrown against said wall and then falling.

after all, he's the only one in the room, and his clothing is spotless.]

[well then, good thing he isn't moving~. the icicle is a direct hit, but there's not even a pained grunt out of him. somewhere in the dressing room, however, unheard by Kairi, there is a soft "oh" as Kai collapses to the floor in the middle of making something to eat, a nice big frosty hole in his middle.]

[She's shocked for a second that he gives no response, but she can't afford to stop and think right now. So the next move is spreading the ice out from where it hit Gemkai to start freezing over his torso.]

I wonder if poor princess is ever going to get to finish making that food. Probably not, now that he's bleeding out in the kitchen and all.

[Before she gets a chance to listen to his words she's shutting them out and telling herself it's a bluff. And even if it's true, she was prepared to do what was necessary from the start. That ice is still growing, spreading fast along his arms now.]

[Once she's frozen solid all of him but his head, she storms right up- closer than she should really get- and punches him.]

[he lets that one connect, and just starts laughing, spitting some inky blood out at her with a bloody grin.]

[It's just a hard slap to the face this time, like she doesn't want to hurt him so bad anymore. And now that the guilt is sinking in again, her guard is farther down than it should be.]

[that one didn't go to him either. the darkness is starting to attempt to push that big icicle out, because the longer it's in there, the more uncomfortable it's getting.]

[Better silent than blind, but she won't say that. Instead she's backing away, and with another movement, all that ice turns to water. More water is joining it though, in an attempt to keep him immobile.]

[for a moment, there's a nice hole where he should have been injured, but it quickly fills back up with shadow, and then he looks brand new~. except for his face, of course. his sword is long gone by now, and he's just watching her. smirking.]
