[What the. Is there a tornado hitting this kitchen or something?

... actually, no. It's just Layla, out and about. She's grabbing at cupboard doors, raiding anything she can lay her hands on that isn't going to need preparation, and a fair few things that really should be cooked first.

The kid is hungry as heck. Sandwich stuffed into her mouth, she leans over the table and closes her eyes, trying to push it aside.

Because, right now, food isn't doing it. And she doesn't like it when this happens.]

[He peeks in and smiles. A kitchen! Finaly! Then he sees the kid hunched over the table.] Uhhh... You okay?

[She blinks, looks up - probably, a Nobody's the best kind of person she could've seen right now. (What with their... not being particularly edible and all.) A weak smile:]

Um... [She takes a deep breath.] I - dunno, really. I know what I need. But - I don't know you. It wouldn't be good for me to ask.

[She shrugs, laughs.] Well... [More like the complete opposite. But she doesn't entirely like bringing that up so early on in conversations. Let him assume.] We need the same thing.

Hate to tell you this kid, but I think your in for a long wait. I can't even remember how long I've been looking. [He finds cold, leftover hamburgers. Cold, greasy cow-meat, come to Demy!]

[Her face falls. She's always felt kind of bad for Nobodies - and right now, she really sympathises.]

Ugh... [Chomp. Trying to distract herself.] I ... guess I can hope?

Ahhh... Yeah. It's not like I meant... away from here. I'm kinda stuck here too and I kinda know I'm not leaving. I just mean, you could join our cause?

Well... [On one hand, she does kind of feel for them. On another, she knows what they get up to, and knows it'd be dangerous to get involved if they found out what she is. On even more, she's worried about her parents' opinions, but this is a chance to meet new people... okay, that's too many hands for this form.]

I'll - think about it, okay? I'd kinda like to, but I don't know if I can...
