Help Wanted

[There are some posters being placed on the walls in the DR today. They're nothing elaborate with fancy pictures or anything of the sort. Just large, bold print and a description underneath.

They read:

Wanted Training Partners
I'm thinking of starting up a training group. The idea's probably been tossed around before, but not much has come of it. If you're interested, meet me by the Coliseum. You can't miss it.

And, indeed, Riku will be waiting right outside the entrance to the Coliseum Room. It seems like a suitable enough place to get some training in, after all. People are free to wonder why he's chilling there, or what the posters are about.]

[A boy around Riku's age is the first to step right up, although whether he was following the poster's indication or not is suspect. If anything he's looking around the place like a tourist, gawking at the towering columns and...unfortunately tripping right over a barrel.

[...Pfff. Well, he'll try to hold back a snicker. Nice entrance, pal.]

[Yeah, well, keep snickering when his shadow seems to pool near his feet and gets up by itself to tug the boy back upright. It drops back to its place on the ground about as abruptly as it appeared and that leaves Keir rubbing at a rust-red mark on the back of his neck, looking perturbed]

[...Okay, that's new. New and a bit disconcerting. He'll watch Keir carefully, waiting to see what he does next, as darkness usually isn't a good sign.]

[Keir's shoulders bunch just a little and he glances in Riku's direction in a decidedly reluctant manner]

Ah...hello.

[His voice is soft, more so than it should be, and after a pause he straightens his posture]

[Well, he sure isn't acting like the typical darkness junkie... yet.]

[He gestures at their surroundings with his free hand, the other still held over that mark on his neck]

[Hmm. He's curious about that mark... Eh. No sense asking about it yet.]

People call it the Dressing Room.

[That earns a raise eyebrow as Keir glances around again]

I don't see any clothes...

[probably not exactly the training partner Riku had in mind, but after having read a nearby sign, a certain kid is peeking into the coliseum room curiously.]

[Oh, 'sup, Sorabug. This'd be the part where Keyku turns around and... heh. He'll go and greet the kiddo.]

[Oh, he remembers her. Riku will just give a quick wave, followed by a soft 'heh'.]

[pretty excited by the idea, yes.]

That's right. I figured that this place needs one, especially with how dangerous it's been.

It's a really good idea! Where do I sign up?

[okay so that question was said kind of teasingly, but she DOES seem interested.]

You mean there's a challenge?

[He laughs.]

Who knows? Could end up with some tough opponents if the group really takes off.
