strange weather;

[It's just outrageously hot today, and it's had this Kairi feeling pretty tired and under the weather. So she's decided to situate herself in one of the common rooms and make it snow. After an hour or so, the snow is starting to collect in the cooler temperature, and she's just laying on the couch and watching it come down from the ceiling.]

Don't be so sure, it's common for similar traits to carry down to the next generation. Roxas acts more like his father every day and he never even knew him.

Actually, no. She could be pretty distant at times. She was the oldest of the group, so she always used to tell me about how immature the others were. Vexen being the youngest, they never got along until Roxas's father forced them to be civil with each other.

...It doesn't matter anymore. We're all stuck here. There's no world to save or whatever the job is supposed to be.

That's his job. He's the "fearless leader". And he's to thick-headed to leave things alone when he should.

"Fearless"? It's his fear that is driving him to keep everyone together. You may think of him as thick-headed, but he's stubborn for a reason.

[Her voice is starting to escalate and she doesn't even realize it.]

I don't know why he's trying to keep everyone all together, there's no point I've never been one of them and I never will be. Everyone but him seems to make that pretty clear!

Have you ever considered that maybe the only person who thinks that is you? Just because the others don't act upon it, doesn't mean they feel the same.

You've proven yourself plenty of times. You've helped the kids, helped him. Just because you aren't the Kairi they knew before, doesn't mean you can't make a place for yourself in their lives.

There is. It may take time, but it's always there. Roxas has tried hard to make you feel more welcome, maybe if you start to accept it, you'll feel more in place.

Because he cares about you. And the little Roxas thinks you're great too. He's always saying he wishes he could find a way to spend more time in your ice castle so that he can spend more time with you.
