So recently* - both on anontalk and on our complaints post - there have been people complaining about OCs.

We're not going to say "no OCs," because it's not like they're. Taking the DR over or anything, but there've been enough complaints that something has to be done.

Anyway, this is a... "try to hold off" on OCs, I guess. It's not a ban. CAN YOU TELL I'M AWFUL AT MODLY THINGS.

* - less than recently, it's just taken me forever to post this thing. 8D;

Okay - as an OC player, I *am* kind of concerned about this.

What exactly does 'try to hold off' mean in this context? Don't introduce any new ones? Don't play so much with existing ones? Considering I'd been given the impression that people were fine with Layla, I'm just a bit :( about having to put her on the back burner, if that's what's required ... if that's what the majority want, fine, but IDK. I'm just confused. Worried. (And would possibly be more articulate if I'd had caffeine yet this morning.)

So I guess. Can I get a bit of clarification, please? is all I'm saying...

That's a heck of a relief. I've always been kinda shy about throwing Layla at random folks, anyway, so... I'd hope I was okay. XD But thanks for clarifying.

Like Zoe said, we just want people to cut down. We've gotten a large influx of them lately, and people just seem to think they're... overwhelming at times? Like the actual canon KH characters are getting outweighed. Which, I should add, is not the fault of the OC players. We're lacking in canon lately, but the people complaining will have to step forward to help fix that if that's what they want.

I think part of it is having had very few OCs that stuck around for a while now, and then suddenly getting a lot in comparison. We're not asking for people to stop making new ones or stop posting with the ones they have, of course not. It's a dressingroom. Personally, I don't give a damn about the anon comms, but we have had people take the time to write up comments for the concerns post. We had to put some thought into it.

I just woke up, so I hope that made sense.

No worries, it helps. So it's more a 'let's try and not bring so many in', mostly, to try and give a bit of breathing room? I can work with that. (And hell, I'd bring in canons if I was inspired for any that weren't mirrorverse... XD)
