[There's music coming out of one of the labs today. Something of a rock-ish persuasion*, actually; Xeha, for this is whose lab it comes from, seems to have a taste for things epic.

He is, actually, chilling out in there with a coffee. Even dedicated researchers need downtime...]

Well, usually i'm not but I'm in a really good mood today so I wanted to see if I could try.

[She shrugs and settles back in her chair.]

Probably because this is the first time in a month I haven't been sick.

[Just watch she'll jinx it with that and feel like she wants to die tomorrow.]

[She smiles over at him then headtilts at the music.]

[She folds her arms over her stomach and sighs before speaking quietly.]

What if the baby ends up having problems with Darkness too? Like...like Rikka, I don't think you know him but Hikari's friends with him.

Who's Hikari? But ... you've got a good point. [He looks down.]

I've not touched Darkness since ... I've only touched it once. But I know it's somewhere here. [Resting a hand over his heart.] Somewhere I don't want it. And if there's the slightest chance of the baby inheriting it... I don't know.

[She folds her arms and rests them on the counter, trying to figure out an answer to that.]

I've been loving on that person's remixes lately.

[He only glances in at first, wondering who has music playing, but when he spots Xehanort... Well, it's practically a hobby of his to give the younger man trouble whenever possible. So he pushes the door open and sticks a finger in his ear as if gravely offended by the music's volume.]

[He looks over, making an expression that could almost be described as 'd'oh', then gives a nod, all respect.]

I'm sorry. I hadn't quite realised how loud it was from outside... ah, just a moment, let me turn it down.

[He smiles at that, dropping his hand and moving further into the laboratory. He's just about to tell him it's all right when he realizes something's very different about Xehanort. He hadn't noticed it from across the room, but... No, it's pretty obvious to him now. His eyes narrow as he moves a step closer.]
