[HERE IS KAI BEING NORMAL-AGED AGAIN. he's lying on a couch, reading a book and playing pillow to a sleeping child. there's a pair of empty plates and empty cups stacked up beside the couch; dinner was macaroni and cheese, with a side of fruit punch!]

[If she knew that, Riku might ask if Kai was normal-aged whenever this dinner was made. If she knew, and wasn't distracted and confused by the child with him. She'll be quiet when she walks up; her expression should give away her curiosity.]

He showed up shortly after I changed back an hour or so ago.

He remembers the DR, but it's fuzzy.

[Did we say curiosity? We meant surprise. But mostly still confusion. Riku will lean against the side of the couch, peering down at both of them.]

Is this the kid you from before?

Almost certain, yeah.

[considering that remembering bit. he will be quite happy to see his big sister, that's for sure~.]

[You can never be sure with the DR. :c Riku looks like she doesn't quite know how to feel about that, but she reaches over to very, very gently run a couple fingers through his hair. And then the older Kai's, with some amusement.]

[the little one shifts and sighs, and the older looks amused right back.]

I was going to move him in a little bit, but I wanted to make sure he was properly asleep first.

Somewhere near me until I could find someone to look after him properly. You up for that again?

[He should recognize this look. It's her "are you kidding?" look.]

[snickers quietly, the movement of his chest making the kid mumble in his sleep and shift.]
