[A select few might recognize what Terranort is writing on his side of the wall; Side B, that is. It's incomplete and has some holes in it, but it's the formula for the replication data of a Kairi's heart. There's some gaps here and there, however... but it almost feels as if these gaps might be intentional. For one, he's neglected anything which would give the replica a sense of "self," completely severing the chains of memories in this formula. But more than that, he seems to be trying to work out a complicated problem with this. He sighs and then shakes his head-]

Even given more time, it seems that some things are beyond our reach, aren't they?

[Oh well. He'll keep up his position at the wall in a wheelie chair regardless. This time starting on a formula for a heartless's existence. A Pureblood, that is. The average shadow. He can't help but ironically laugh at how much simpler the absence of light is to understand than the absence of darkness. Objectively, you would think both would be simple but... Alas.]

Terra!

['sup, bff. You're on the same side of the wall, so have a derp rushing over to you.]

[...well, it's a start. At least he's not backing away!

Right then. Ven will stop right next to him, reaching into his pocket.]

Hey. What're you doing?

[identity profile] erasemefriend.livejournal.com 2010-05-16 06:07 am (UTC)(link)
What kinda things, though?

[... this is progress!]

[ Of course. It takes her months to find him here, and when she does... He's on the other side of the wall. Somehow, she isn't surprised.

She does approach the wall, though, looking uncertain. The equations probably aren't something she'd be familiar with even if they weren't mirrored, so she's not sure what to make of them. ]

[ ... Aqua mirrors that frown, knocking on the glass and mouthing 'Terra.' She'll use some piece of bright, flashy magic if she has to, to get his attention. ]

[ She really should have expected him to be stubborn about it. Can he ignore the Cracker Firaga that's spelling out his name in front of her? ]

Notes?

[Interesting... Ienzo still feels a bit intimidated by Terranort, but... well, he might as well see what he's up to.]

[identity profile] radiantprodigy.livejournal.com 2010-05-16 06:50 am (UTC)(link)
Hmm...

[He examines the formulas closely.]

They're formulas based on the heart's composition, correct?

[identity profile] radiantprodigy.livejournal.com 2010-05-16 07:08 am (UTC)(link)
You still intend to create a replica?

/pegs the bitch at poor Terranort C8

[Today is not Even's day.

She's been cut off from her books, bed and most importantly, tea by this stupid wall. And of course now Braig's started to be sensible for once and make herself scarce to escape a long, dry tirade from the irascible scientist.

Oh but hey, that formula looks interesting. Ping.

She worries her bottom lip while she tries to make it out backwards, drifting up to the wall. Terranort is not worth acknowledging until she produces a felt tip pen from somewhere god only knows what her pockets look like.]

[She tries to catch his eye, indicating the gaps in his work.]

Re: awesome

[She frowns, but manages to keep from rolling her eyes while she circles the 'accidental' holes in the equation.]

[For all her usual cynicism, she finds the possibility engrossing.]

[It probably says something about her that she finds this method of communication much more efficient than the more conventional route.]

[Has that wall turned into a mirror for a second, perhaps? Because it almost looks like... ah, no. Not quite, especially if outfits are anything to go by. But another Xehanort traces a finger along the writing, frowning as he tries to work out what's there in reverse.]

PS: Can use spoiler!icons here or no?

[identity profile] walkingspoiler.livejournal.com 2010-05-16 10:01 pm (UTC)(link)
[Xeha reads over it, puzzles it out, lifts an eyebrow. He mouths out, exaggerating his motions:]

Interesting theory. Or is it in practice?

[Tap, tap on the text.]

Cool.

[Well, he hadn't been prepared to stop and chat: he left his notebook in his own lab, sadly. He gives a headtilt.]

Any reason beyond curiosity you're doing this?
