[For once, Riku isn't in the laundry room (it's not his fault okay). This time, he's in the kitchen making a three am snack that involves a bunch of breakfast foods. Sure, the bacon is a little burnt and the omelet looks a little undercooked, but those sliced up potatoes smell delicious.

Whistling idly while he scrapes said potatoes onto his big ol' plate, toast is popping up not too far away on the counter, and there's just enough room on that plate to fit the two slices of toast on there somewhere.]

[Tips his head to the side to bare his neck, quietly taking a bite out of his last strip of bacon while he used his other hand to tug the collar of his shirt down and make it easier to reach.] Yeah, I guess so. Plus I can just finish eating when you're done and take a nap.

[because he'd really feel guilty if he accidentally drained Riku. unfortunately, he still hasn't learned the trick of slipping into someone's mind to ease the pain of his bite, so Riku should be feeling it right about... now.]

[Wincing sharply, yowch! He managed not to jolt under the teeth but that's not a part he'll ever really get over even if he's fed Sora two or three times now. Staying quiet and remaining fairly still, he chewed on the bacon idly.] I won't, don't worry.

[he's got a fairly strong grip on Riku's shoulders to keep him from going anywhere, his eyes half-shut as the blood washes over his tongue. he'd needed it more than he was willing to admit, thanks to how fast his body burned through it.]

[There was a lulling feeling of blood being sucked from his neck, giving a slow breath and trying to not concentrate on it though his eyes slid partially closed.]

[hopefully Riku remembers his limits, because Sora's very intent on feeding and the feeling of cramps easing as the blood hits his system]

[He did promise not to let Sora make him pass out, so he's paying attention. A few minutes are going by, and so far he just feels the little lull and the teeth, doing alright so far blood-taken-wise.]

[he'll continue then, until Riku forces him to stop.]

[It wasn't too much longer before he was starting to feel a little woozy and reached a hand up to pat Sora on the head as a hint that he should stop.]

[he might need a little more than a pat, Riku, as that could also be taken as permission to keep going]

[A few moments, then pushes on his head away a little.] Sora, gotta stop.

[pulls away reluctantly, still licking at the wound on Riku's neck until the blood slows to a stop]

[Honestly, he couldn't help the soft sound he made from the licks, closing his eyes.]

[the sound more than anything brings Sora back to his senses, and he pulls away more with an embarrassed expression]

Riku, are you okay?

Yeah, I'm fine. [Awkward, but that had felt nice. Reaching up and gingerly touching that bite mark now, he tipped his head up and chewed on the end of his bacon, looking back.] You know, I didn't think vampire bites were supposed to hurt. [Teasing tone.]

[he looks a little put-out at the teasing, but he is glad Riku isn't passing out on him.]

I haven't... figured that part out yet.

Any other vampires you could ask to teach you? [Blinks, hey don't look look put out, it was just a tease! Chomps a bite of his omelet.]

One, but we keep getting... distracted.

[Curious look about 'distracted', but he won't ask.] I see.. [Quietly works on more of his food. Hey if Sora still needs something to eat (that isn't blood), he could make him something still.]

[Riku could probably guess, with the light blush Sora's sporting. as for food, he'd protest against Riku feeding him twice. though he is going over to the fridge to see what's in there before stealing bites off Riku's plate becomes more than an idle thought.]

[Ah, that blush told him all he needed to know. Protective friend mode will kick in but he's not nosy enough to ask just yet.. Watches him go to the fridge and swallows his bite.] Do you want me to make you something? [He'd be fine with feeding him twice.]

No, you don't have to. You already helped me a lot by letting me have your blood.

[and he doesn't want to worry about Riku passing out on him from too much activity too soon]

You sure? You were saying you need to eat normal food still too. [Chuckles quietly, he's just working on his potatoes now, half the plate empty already.] It really wouldn't be a problem.

[he's pulling out a great big slice of chocolate cake he's just found actually, his eyes already a little starry over the way it looks]

Oooh. Yeah, I'm sure. This should be enough for now.

[.... That cake does look good but seriously Sora, you aren't a healthy eater. Sighs, let's him go with it and shoves some eggs in his mouth so he won't comment.] If you're positive.
