Someone's bored... can you tell?

[Anyone visiting the Land of Departure room today might find it a little... different than they last left it. There's a dozen or so Floods and Scrappers scurrying about, as well as two Buckle Bruisers.

These Unversed don't seem to be doing anything nefarious at the moment, but their surroundings are trashed to Hades and back. The grass and trees are hacked up, some of the stained glass windows have had rocks thrown through them, and there's scorch marks on the ground and parts of the castle, itself; but most of the damage is cosmetic, at least.

And in the chaos, a certain bad-guy is nowhere to be found. Or at least, is hiding somewhere out of plain sight.]

(ooc: There will probably be BBS spoilers within. To make things go more smoothly, treat this as a mingle thread (since my work schedule's killing me and my tags will be sporadic) so feel free to dispatch the Unversed as you see fit.)

[If she's still got her weapon out, then he'll keep his at his side, just in case. Giving a quick look around, Riku follows Aqua up to the castle.]

Vanitas... is he that guy with the mask? I saw some posters about him a while back.

With the helmet, yes.

[She nods, sighing.] I don't understand why he'd do this. Of all the rooms, of all the people... And the damage isn't even that extensive.

You'd know better than I would. I haven't run into him yet. For all we know, he could've had nothing better to do.

He's dangerous, Riku. If at all possible, you should avoid him.

[He looks a touch reluctant at the thought of avoiding him, actually. Maybe because he's stubborn, maybe because of his encounter with Ansem. Either way...]

Fine, but if I do run into him, I'm not going to hold back.

I don't think he's the sort of person who does things on whim.

Just be careful, whether you fight him or not. He's not a person to ever be underestimated.

So what's he capable of?

[He frowns, placing his free hand against his hip.]

He's strong and can wield a Keyblade on his own. He's summoned several Keyblades on his own to use to maneuver himself across a battlefield, like we'd use with our riders. He's fast too, like Ven.

Riders? Didn't know you could use a Keyblade that way.

[Well, the more you know. Either way, he nods.]

I've taken on some pretty tough opponents before. Fast or not, I think I'd be able to handle it.
