[ There is a Saïx making her way out of one of the laboratories. This isn't terribly unusual, but she's making quite the mess. Black sludge drips from under her sleeves and down one leg, forming a thick, clotted puddle beneath her heels. She leans back against the door and squints down the hall, looking pained and confused. ]

[ooc; she is hallucinating, and miiight become violent, depending on who she sees. ♥]

[She gives a pained grunt and slides her foot back, smearing dark sludge. It squelches beneath her heel, and the movement makes an entirely new wave leak out beneath her coat. Saïx's breath has quickened at this point, and her pose is reminiscent of a classic zombie. There's no life in her limbs; they're limp at her sides as she stares at the floor.]

[Avani takes exactly three steps back, hand held out behind her, ready to summon her keyblade if needed.]

[It's a shame that was her only warning. In a (literal) flash of light, Saïx has summoned her own weapon, her claymore, and swings it at Avani in a sharp upward angle.]

[Avani ducks to the side, but takes the hit to her shoulder with a growl of pain, Angel Dust flashing into her hand. She stays crouched down, quickly gauging the distance to the lab, preparing to run for it.]

[There is expression on Saïx's face, raw and angry and surprisingly unforced. Unfortunately, true to her reputation, she doesn't stop with a single hit, and steps forward to strike her again.]
