one of those ghosts.

[There's a new kid in one of the common rooms today, and it seems he brought some of his world with him. He was just standing out on the beach watching the moon over the ocean when he'd closed his eyes- and found himself in a place severely lacking in any sound of waves or sea breeze. He's still standing on a pile of sand, looking about in a wary manner.]

[It takes him a moment or two more, but he attempts a slight smile, almost like he's wordlessly asking if this means everything's okay now.]

Sorry. I always complicate things more than I should.

[That gets him an arm around his shoulder for a bro hug]

Hey that's okay~.

[ She may not be able to see their faces, but she can see Sora wrap an arm around Riku. Yes, now everything will be okay. Emitting a satisfied sigh, Kairi finally lies on her back, but she only stays still for a minute. Then she's lifting up her legs, raising and holding her hips along with them to hold them perpendicular to the bed.

She twists only to let her legs back down, having maneuvered them so they settle back down on the mattress behind the boys' bodies. She turns onto her side, facing back toward the head of the bed. She can't help but close her eyes again. She's comfortable, and she hasn't gotten enough sleep in ages. She's sleepy, but she's afraid to sleep. If she starts dozing off, those two better wake her up! ]

Nothing will come between us~.

[He feels almost embarrassed now, but it's over with, so it doesn't matter. There's a quiet exhale as he closes his eyes in a content expression.]

You guys seem determined enough to make sure of that.

After the trouble to get you back, you bet you're ass we are.

[Oh Sora, you and your not insinuations]

[ It feels good to have her eyes closed, but she can feel consciousness starting to slip away. But she can't sleep. So speaking of ass... Reluctantly rolling over and opening her eyes, she lifts a knee to nudge Sora's bum and moves a hand to pat Riku's.

What? Maybe Kairi just thinks dirty when she's tired. ]

I think it comes naturally. We aren't trying too hard! I think you just want it too.

[ But she doesn't elaborate on whatever it is that she's referring to. ]

[He's... not quite sure what she's referring to, and so will just keep it vague. ...The asspat has him suspicious though.]

And what, exactly, is "it"?

[glances over to Kairi because of the nudge then over at Riku]

Really Riku? You seriously just asked that of all things?

[ Kairi smirks, meeting Sora's eyes to give him a mischievous look, but when she speaks, she's addressing Riku. ]

We can show you, if you want.

[ And her arm is curling around Riku's waist. ]

Maybe I just wanted her to specify--

[He's interrupted by that arm around him though, glancing back at her.]

...I guess.

[He just doesn't want to flat out admit it, really.]

[Sora is all too amused by this, arm coming around to loop under the other boy's arm and into a hug]

You know you can just say yes.

[ She pulls just slightly on Riku's middle as she picks her body up, and she lets go of him to crawl around his side and situate one knee on the outside of his thigh and the other in the space between his legs. Effectively straddling his thigh, she snuggles up to his free side, as Sora has his other, and she presses a kiss to Riku's jawline. ]

And maybe say please?

[He's trying hard to ignore the slight pink that's appearing on his face, looking for some kind of distraction from this. He's not sure he likes being the center of attention all of a sudden, but at the same time he'd rather it than being left out.]

A-And what are you going to do if I say yes, huh?

Quite a few things, right Kairi?

[Well it's been everyone else's turn Riku, so now it's yours]

[ Kairi's turning a bit pink in the cheeks as well, but she doesn't seem to be letting it get in her way. ]

That's right.

[ She's sneaking a hand up Riku's side, pushing up the material of his shirt to run her fingers along his hip. ]

[Inhales a little sharper than usual, but it's not quite a gasp. He's not sure which of them to lean closer to, so he just reaches around and gently tugs them both a bit closer.]

Then I guess... the answer is yes.

[Sora is pleased by this reaction, moving his hand over his arm, despite what he did he's still sort of not entirely 100% about this another guy thing, but since it's Riku he's at least staying put]

[ Being tugged closer, Kairi is happy to find herself up against part of Riku's chest, his warmth radiates right on through his shirt, but Kairi slips her hand further up his shirt anyway, resting her palm over his ribcage. He's like a human heater, and this redhead just rests her head on his shoulder, content. The tug did, however, inadvertently drag her knee forward with her. Thankfully that tug was a gentle one, because otherwise Riku might have gotten knocked hard in a sensitive place. As it is, now her knee's just pressing lightly on him. ]

That wasn't so hard, was it?

[ If Sora's uncertain about this, he can always say something. Maybe sleep deprivation has taken a hit on her judgment and her nerves, maybe it's made her more bold, but she's still herself. Making sure he and Riku are okay has always been her top priority. ]

[As long as that knee doesn't press too hard, he'll hardly even notice it. He's not even thinking about what all this might lead to, just appreciating the both of them being here and everything just being okay.]

I guess not.
