[In a certain Destiny Islands room, seated on a certain Paopu tree (located on a certain small islet) is a... well, a certain armored someone. It looks like he's stargazing. It would also appear that he's soaking wet and that the tree is leaning a little further over than usual.

Probably better not to ask.

Any passers-by might also catch a glimpse of something orange partially hidden behind the leaves and the fruit at the top of the tree.

He shifts where he sits, watching a single shooting star cross the night sky. There's a faint ringing noise from his helmet. Sounds like two words... Or maybe just one two-syllable word.]

Riku didn't expect to see anyone else in here. Much less this particular someone. He takes a moment to just watch Terra before heading his way.

Hopefully he won't mind the company.]

Hey.

[He doesn't mind. He doesn't even really react at first, too caught up in looking at stars. There were three special stars up there once. He can't seem to find them now.

He moves a moment later, as if making room for Riku on the tree.]

Hey...

[A pause and there's a hint of a smile and a tease and just a little bitty bit of pride in his voice.]

[He shrugs, moving over towards the tree. Might as well take a seat, since he did scoot over a bit.]

I guess not.

[He agrees... even though he intends to keep using the title. He leans back to watch the stars directly overhead.]

Not like it's a bad thing. But Riku's fine, really.

[Stars... heh. Usually when Riku would come out here it'd be to watch the sunset, but this is a nice view all the same.]

So why'd you come here? Just wondering.

[Speaking of wondering things, he has to wonder why he never asked after your name all those years ago.]

I was looking for something. I couldn't find it in the other rooms.

[What do you have to lose, Xehanort? Metal clinks as Terra shifts, turning about just enough to watch the kid as he approaches.]

[Well, not a lot, but... still. He slinks his shoulders back a little, but raises a hand to give a wave - uh, hi?]

[Terra doesn't return the gesture right away. He doesn't really move at all, just staring for a minute or two. Finally, he looks away and a hand comes up to mirror the wave.]

[He can probably hear the soft footsteps coming up from behind him as she approaches the tree. Then again, with the breezes of the islands, the out of place floral scent would be enough to tell him a certain someone else had entered.]

[Picking up scents may not be so easy for him at the moment, but he definitely hears her and can sense her coming. He looks down from his spot, nodding his head once.]

[She smiles and takes a seat where Kairi usually sits, then. Namine rests her hands in her lap, just looking out at the view. It really is a nice view. Even nicer to see in person, rather than in memories.]

[He keeps quiet until he spots another shooting star.]

I think some part of me wishes it could stay in a world like this one and watch the stars all the time.

[He doesn't bother looking behind him to check who it is. Even if she hadn't spoken, he would have known.]

[A small smile crosses her face as she moves to stand beside the tree, looking up at the sky, just giving him some company.]

[So many stars. Seems like it'd be impossible to count them all.]

[He shrugs slightly, trying very hard to sound upbeat for her sake.]

As good as I can be.
