[and in this familiar hall, there is a Riku who looks roughly seven years old. he's wearing an Organization coat that is way too big for him, and seems to be trying to hoist it up enough to climb out of those over-sized black boots.

he also looks very confused as to what the heck is going on here]

Sora? This ain't funny, what's going on!

Whoa!

[he's not sure what to be more surprised at, the blast of fire or the keyblade.]

And that's the Fire spell. Pretty cool, huh?

Can you do it again?

I can, yeah.

[shall he do it again, then~?]

[watches with glee as the dummy gets blasted]

Now another one!

You sure you don't want to see any other spells?

[this is rather amusing, in any case.]

Yeah! Do another spell!

How about... Blizzard!

[that dummy's nice and frozen~.]

Whoa, that put the fire out, too!

Yep. There's another basic damage spell. That one's Thunder! [and casting that now, which hits more than one dummy. :>]

[jumps a foot in the air at that one, his eyes wide. he's still more afraid of thunder and lightning than he'll admit, and it's a very good thing he hadn't needed to use the bathroom before all the spells or he'd need a change of pants.]

I like the fire one better.

[whoops. he feels a little bad about that, and smiles apologetically.]

The fire one is definitely cooler.

What about the brush thing?

[he's still pretty dubious about that one.]

[oh yay, he gets to show off the paintbrush. his Keyblade is going away now, and he's pulling out the brush.]

Well, with this I can do a lot, too. I can make fire...

[and he makes a symbol in the air, causing a small explosion of flames among the dummies.]

...and a bunch of other stuff. Want to help me with one?

[he looks a lot less skeptical after the explosion, and surprised at the question]

You need my help?

Well, you don't have to help. I can do it on my own. But if you want to help, you can.

[but his expression is going "pleeeeeaaaaaase? c:"]

What do I have to do?

[Kai has him, hook, line and sinker.]

Well, come here. You're going to have to paint this-

[he draws a circle with a line sticking out of it, almost like a cherry, on the ground. there's no power behind it, though, so nothing forms.]

-in the air. I'll help keep the brush steady.

[goes on over to take the brush, not minding if Kai keeps a hold of it too]

What's it gonna do?

We're going to make a bomb.

[:D :D :D]

[that gets a reflexive look over his shoulder, though of course his mom is nowhere in sight here]

Really?

Really. See the design? The circle is the bomb, and the line is the thing that sticks out of it.

Lets do it!

[he is more than ready now]

Alright. The ink will appear in the air, so don't be too surprised.

[annnnd he will direct Riku through the movements now~. as soon as the drawing in the air is complete, a large, colourful and odd looking bomb bursts into existence among a puff of smoke, and promptly explodes when it touches one of the dummies.]

[practically squeals when it does, looking more animated than he's been all day]
