[ Normally this hall is quiet, secluded and separate from the more popular areas -- and it still is. All but quiet. Vicious growls and bangs come from one of the rooms, because something large and angry is trying to break out. The door is thick and solid and successfully preventing whatever it is inside from escaping, but it isn't discouraged. The sounds don't let up at all, and it's been going on for hours. There aren't many things that howl like that, and for anyone curious there's a safe way to investigate. A small opening provides a means to look inside the room. A window, before something punched through it, spilling glass and shredded, bloodied fur out into the hall. ]

I figured, but realistically...

[He trails off. He'd rather she didn't go through that again either, but with this place, you never know.]

I know. But I can't--

[She's going to stop talking there before she says something completely stupid.]

[He blinks down at her when she stops, a bit confused. But he'll keep walking, and won't push.]

[She'll have her eyes closed by that point, and doesn't intend to open them any time soon.]

How far are we?

Almost there.

[...He's tempted to stick around after he's put her in her room. Or at least check in on her fairly often.]

[Then they'd be even, as far as watching each other sleep goes. Riku might be drifting off as he walks, though.]

[They're close enough that he's okay with that, and once they reach her room he's going to try very hard not to jostle her while opening the door.]

[He could take it as a compliment. Or maybe it's just that she's so exhausted she can't stay awake anymore. She doesn't open her eyes or anything.]

[Well, here you go, Riku, have a bed!]

[Funny how that tends to wake someone up just enough, hm? She doesn't say anything, but her eyes are open now, and she's looking at him.]

[Blinks down at her a bit, then ignores her for a second to pull the blanket over her.]

[Riku cracks a weak smile at that, and rolls over to bury everything from her neck down under the blanket.]

Need anything before I go clean that room up?

[Turtleku is staring at him from over the edge of the covers.]

You don't have to do that.

Don't want to attract vampires with the blood.

[What, that isn't a teasing grin, what are you talking about.]

[That makes her snort and curl up closer to the pillow.]

Werewolf blood?

Who knows, it might be a delicacy to some vampires!

Mmm.

[Her eyes are closing again.]

How do they get along in Halloween Town?

Eh, some get along and some don't, same as any kind of people.

Funny.

[Does the random question make how tired she is obvious? It should. She's falling asleep right there.]

[Yeah, he's quieting down so she can sleep. He'll leave once she's completely asleep, just in case she ends up asking for something before that happens.]

[That's sweet of him. But she won't. With the silence, there isn't anything to stop her from falling into a nice deep sleep.]

[Then he'll go clean that mess up; don't need anyone thinking that some furry creature has gone and eaten someone.]
