[ Normally this hall is quiet, secluded and separate from the more popular areas -- and it still is. All but quiet. Vicious growls and bangs come from one of the rooms, because something large and angry is trying to break out. The door is thick and solid and successfully preventing whatever it is inside from escaping, but it isn't discouraged. The sounds don't let up at all, and it's been going on for hours. There aren't many things that howl like that, and for anyone curious there's a safe way to investigate. A small opening provides a means to look inside the room. A window, before something punched through it, spilling glass and shredded, bloodied fur out into the hall. ]

[What, he backs off with it when she coughs. He's not stupid or anything.]

[She knows, but she's not thinking much right now. She's pretty dazed and clearly tired, and hangs her head down enough that her hair covers most of her face.]

Try and stay awake long enough for me to get some more stuff in you, alright?

[And then feel free to pass out or something, he'll find a blanket to wrap her in and carry her back to her room to rest.]

[She's doing her best to fight off the exhaustion, and forces his hand to move the elixir back to her mouth. ...where she bites it. It's not hard enough to do any damage, just a little clink with her teeth.]

Face hurts.

I've got some painkillers in the bag.

[Which he will give her when she's done the elixir.]

Good. I feel like taking the whole bottle.

[She's kidding. Mostly. Riku cringes as she finishes off the elixir, but she feels a little better. She looks a little better, too, it's just hidden under all that mess.]

Not unless you want to wake up at that save point.

[He will never say how worried this has him.]

[Riku lets out a huff that sounds amused, and adjusts herself a little. She was too weak to properly cover herself, but she can at least fold her arms and keep them there now.]

Not really...

[At least he wasn't looking? And once she's done the elixir, he's going to fish for that pill bottle.]

[Well, hell, she's not exactly comfortable being naked in front of him. Though that... helps. She's still resting her head against the floor, but now she's staring at Red.]

How long were you out there?

All night? If this happens again, we're sticking you in an outdoor room. Listening to you slamming against the walls started sounding pretty bad.

[He doesn't see any big deal in him being there the whole time though.]

[She frowns at that, and stays quiet for a good long moment. This is serious to her.]

... Thanks, Red.

For what?

[He looks honestly confused. He already said he'd help her with this, after all.]

[Saying something and actually doing it are entirely different things. She tilts her head in the direction of the door, gesturing outside.]

Being there.

I said I'd help.

[Though really, he wasn't much help during the actual transformation.]

[What could he have done? She didn't want him around for that, with the chances of her hurting him so high.]

I know...

Then there's no need to thank me.

[Anyway, weren't there pills to be taken.]

...yeah. There is.

[But you know she can't get them down dry. Either way, she's forcing herself to sit up now.]

[He just shrugs a bit, not sure what to say to that. And yes, that's why he's getting that water bottle, too.]

[Since they're at the wall she's able to lean back against it once she's up, and she promptly curls her knees up to her chest.]

[...He's going to offer his shirt. It's not exactly pants, but at least it's some cover?]

[Cover is cover, in a situation like this. Riku will not notice him do that unless he says something, though, since her eyes are closed.]

Riku.

[Pokes her with the shirt!]

What?

[Five more minutes?]

Take it.

[Poke poke poke.]
