[ Normally this hall is quiet, secluded and separate from the more popular areas -- and it still is. All but quiet. Vicious growls and bangs come from one of the rooms, because something large and angry is trying to break out. The door is thick and solid and successfully preventing whatever it is inside from escaping, but it isn't discouraged. The sounds don't let up at all, and it's been going on for hours. There aren't many things that howl like that, and for anyone curious there's a safe way to investigate. A small opening provides a means to look inside the room. A window, before something punched through it, spilling glass and shredded, bloodied fur out into the hall. ]

[Oh, she will, if the sound of her repeatedly crashing into the walls suggests anything.]

[That makes him wince a little, but short of putting her to sleep, there's not much he can do. And he's not so sure Riku would appreciate that.]

[Who knows? As it is, she won't let up for a while. But she's not trying to purposely hurt herself, at least. She just wants out.]

[Maybe next time she should get locked up in an outdoor room.]

[He's free to suggest that when she's in her right mind. Which won't be for several more hours... Is he going to sit out there the whole time?]

[He'll definitely mention it later! And yeah, he's planning on staying the whole time.]

[She'll be very grateful for it later, when it's finally morning, and the pacing and attempts to escape stop. That one howl dissolves into a pained, but human scream -- only one, but it sounds horrible. The transformation is just as painful in reverse.]

[That has him up and unlocking the door immediately to help her. He's got the bag on him, and is digging out an elixir as he heads in.]

[He'll find her trembling but human, even with her normal skin tone. Riku looks quite the mess, lying curled in the corner on her side, hair matted and tangled. The clothes she had on before are shredded across the floor, which is wet from water and blood, littered with bits of fur. Blood is smeared across her mouth and neck, and by the looks of her shoulders they're going to bruise badly. But her hands look the worst. If Red were close enough to look at them, he could see that the nails are bent and broken. It's one source of the blood.]

Oh hell...

[He's wishing he knew healing magic at this point, but all he can really offer is potions and elixirs. He kneels down beside her, keeping pretty quiet.]

You there, Riku?

Mmm...

[That's close enough to a good response, isn't it? She's not lashing out at him, though she does try to slide away. But she can barely do it. All her energy was used on the rampage over the course of the night.]

Look, just-- don't move. You did some major damage to yourself last night.

[Will she cooperate if he tries to get an elixir in her. :/]

[Are you kidding? She couldn't protest even if she wanted to. Which is definitely not something she wants to do right now.]

Hurts.

I kinda figured.

[Considering how she looks, jeez. He's going to shift her carefully, trying to get her into a good position to drink the elixir.]

[Now that she does try to stop him from doing, putting a hand weakly on his arm.]

My clothes...

[He just... stares blankly at her for a moment.]

Riku, you just went through a night of throwing yourself against walls and shit, let me at least get you healed a bit before you start fussing over the fact that your clothing is ruined.

[She looks at him for a moment, confused and dazed, then just drops her arm. Her eyes close soon after.]

[You better not be passing out on me. Will you just drink this elixir please.]

[She's not passing out yet. She's just incredibly exhausted. If he puts the bottle to her mouth she'll drink.]

[Oh, good. He'll do that, then. He's got more than one elixir in his bag, too. And a bottle of painkillers. And he probably snagged a water bottle at some point during the night.]

[He is totally her best friend right now. She can still drink, but she does cough mid-way and reach to grab his hand.]

[What, he backs off with it when she coughs. He's not stupid or anything.]

[She knows, but she's not thinking much right now. She's pretty dazed and clearly tired, and hangs her head down enough that her hair covers most of her face.]

Try and stay awake long enough for me to get some more stuff in you, alright?

[And then feel free to pass out or something, he'll find a blanket to wrap her in and carry her back to her room to rest.]

[She's doing her best to fight off the exhaustion, and forces his hand to move the elixir back to her mouth. ...where she bites it. It's not hard enough to do any damage, just a little clink with her teeth.]

Face hurts.
