[This is one of those days that Kurt finds himself cursing the lack of arms that come with human form. The ones he has got are rather full.

It looks like he's been busy touring the storage areas and suchlike. Bits of furniture and decoration are balanced precariously in his hands; he's got a few bits of fabric draped over a shoulder that might be clothes.]

... It was so much simpler in the desert ...

[And here comes the amused woman from around a corner, she's in a 'light' mood after finding her daughter is in the DR. ~~Not a bad pun I swear.~~]

[~~cringe at pun~~]

Oh! [He smiles.] Don't trouble yourself, Lady. I'm sure I can manage.

[Yeah. He's not being very convincing.]

I wouldn't be troubling myself by helping a friend, Kurt.

[She will hold her arms out, as if asking him to give her something.]

Ah. If you're certain? [A chuckle. He'll be reaching over best he can to pass a few items over, then.]

I am very certain, Kurt. Though if it isn't rude, I would like to know where I will be taking these.

[grin]

Layla's and my rooms. I'm ... attempting to settle in somewhat better.

[He'd wave. But - yeah. Not so practical.]

That sounds like a good idea.

[still grinning, she will glance back from where she had come from, thinking she heard something.]

[Hunh? He glances over for a second, glances back.]

I was always fine in the desert itself. But ... it hardly seems appropriate any more.

[He gives almost a wistful sigh.]

I am going to assume it has something to do with Layla?

[She glances back to, her smile turning softer]

[He nods.] Her needs are - different to mine alone.

[That gets a laugh out of her.]

Are you talking about the way she is or that she is the opposite gender?

[He looks thoughtful there. He hadn't really thought about that last one.] How will the latter affect things? But the first, as much as anything, was my first thought. I was created for the desert. She was created for ... here, perhaps. If anything.

I don't really know much about it myself, in fact I actually think she is more like us than a normal person, but normal.. females and males are different and require different things. As for what you are talking about, it does seem she is more fit here than anywhere else.

[DOES THAT MAKE ANY SENSE.]

[It makes enough.]

I knew that in an abstract sense. How that translates to - someone more like us? I suppose we will have to work out. She's just - herself. And even if I did not expect her to be here, I want to do the best I can for her.

You are a good father, Kurt.

[That's really all she has to say as she smiles and lets off a little blush.]

[Eheh.]

I simply try my best. Humans have standards for this. We ... hardly do. I had my kind back home, I did what I could... but it's not the same.

I'm sure you do better than they do, though humans do have different kinds of ties to their.. children than I would imagine heartless and.. light, do.

[She doesn't know how to word this fml.]

[He nods.] It would seem to be the case, at least. I just hope it all works.

I hope it does too.. in a sense that everything goes okay, and Layla's world is still the same. It has been said that something as small as the flutter of a butterfly's wing can ultimately cause a typhoon halfway around the world.

You know the worlds better than I.

I'm sure you know more about Agrabah than I do, Kurt. All I know are the hearts that stay there.
