[Luxord is standing there inside the bathroom Kairi has so gracefully invaded, face lathered with shaving cream and black shaver in hand. He's garbed in a fuzzy black bathrobe that looks eerily like his organization cloak, except not quite, as it lacks zippers and stops just above his knee.]

[He stares at her, mid-shave. He is more amused than angry, an eyebrow raised.]

Princess, I understand you and your friends have an incessant need to rid the world of evil and darkness and all things organization XIII, but there is such a thing as privacy. Even in the castle.

[F-freezes. What what is this what's going on.]

[He stares at her through her silence, resting the hand holding the shaver on his robed hip]

I suppose bathroom etiquette where you're from includes bursting into a grown nobody's bathroom. There are better ways of asking to be kidnapped, princess. Like perhaps sprouting voluptuous figure, fast forwarding ten years, or summoning any hearts of all worlds, if you're not feeling up to the former.

Make yourself useful while you're here and hand me that towel would you?

I-I'm not asking to be kidnapped! Twice is more than enough.

[Glances at the towel, then around the room again.] What's going on here?

[He chuckles]

Well if that's the case, I can't imagine why else you would be portaling into my personal quarters in the Castle That Never Was. In my bathroom none the less.

[After she doesn't get his towel, he reaches obtrusively past her to grab it. If he cares he's invaded her personal space, he doesn't seem to show it. He then stands in front of the mirror as if nothing happened. If Kairi wants to fight, she has to wait until he's properly groomed. Just because he helps the forces of darkness devour worlds in order to manifest Kingdom Hearts, doesn't mean he should walk around like an animal, or some classless nobody. He has standards after all.]

I think you're in a better position to tell me what's going on. YOU. Portaled. To ME.

Namine made a portal out of the castle, then I was here. That, combined with the fact that you're supposed to be dead, means I have no idea what's going on. [Hand on hip and glaring at you now. She's thinking this is some Org trick.]

Perhaps Namine and I should have practiced her aim a bit more after all... [He's tapping his chin in thought, getting lather on his finger]

[He turns back to her.] Princess this is going to keep going in circles. I am still shaving in my bathrobe and you are still in my bathroom. Arguing on whether or not I'm supposed to be undead is not going to change that.

Unless you INSIST on fighting here and now?

This may be your bathroom, but out there looks nothing like the castle. But I'd most certainly prefer to be out there than in here. [With a huff she exits the bathroom, closing the door behind her.]

Hm.

[He watches her as she departs, and once he's alone, he actually looks slightly disappointed. And then he reminds himself that he's rather ill equipped to have a fight right now anyway. Then, he hums a tune he remembers from a distant memory, and finishes up, taking a few minutes to dress himself properly. Once he's his usual shining, impeccable state, he straightens his coat and leaves the bathroom, half curious to see if the princess has vacated his quarters.]

[She's up the other end of the empty hallway, exploring random doors with a puzzled look on her face.]

What's this? [He raises an eyebrow.]

I thought you'd have been long gone by now. Are you sure you're so opposed to kidnapping? Seeing as you're so intent on staying, the offer still stands. I'm sure it'll have the keyblade brats running.

It's not like I couldn't run somewhere if I needed to. There's hallways everywhere.

[He's thoroughly amused now]

The corridors here are often known to shift at random. Most of the time you'll run in circles until you find yourself back where you started.

The most effective way... is using a dark portal. You have only to use one and you'll find your freedom.

[Well now she's amused. She walks partway back towards him.] You still think this is the castle? What use do have for a room full of melting clocks, then? [Opens a door - hello melting clocks!]

None. But Vexen's taste for interior decorating has always been abysmal.

Let's find something a bit more palatable.

[He strides forward and shuts the door. Waits a moment. And then opens it up. What opens up before them is a passageway into a small forest with a cottage sitting at the center of it. A small garden sits out back, lit up by a lantern hanging at the cottage's glowing window. Everything is saturated, ideal and almost commercialized. ]

Well that's new... [He looks at Kairi] Just what in heavens did you do?

I haven't done anything! I have no idea what's going on.

It's been working properly until you came, princess. You must've done SOMETHING because now all it's showing is-

[He shuts the door, opens it again and stares. It's completely white with a black dot at the center of it. Luxord stares at it critically.]

... I don't get it.

Look, I don't know where we are or why, and I'm definetly not doing anything. All the other rooms along here are bedrooms, bathrooms and closets.

[He shuts the door again, angry]

Well it certainly wasn't this way before you arrived. Before, it at least led to different parts of the castle. Now it isn't anything but nonsense! If anything it's probably your very presence that's disrupting-!

[He opens it again, and he's greeted the sight of a man standing in a red sunset, with two men in the background. The man closest to them has his hands on both sides of his ghoul-like, nearly-featureless face, screaming obscenely loud. The entire scene is completely surreal and grating to the ears. Luxord slams the door shut. Quiet for a moment.]

You're certain the other rooms are dead ends?

So far. But I've only explored this hallway. [She looks around again, then sets off towards the end of the hall. If there's nothing in this hallway, then she'll try the next one.]

[He watches as she checks one hallway, only to be met with the same results. Luxord crosses his arms impatiently, only to lift one hand. The motion opens up a dark portal in front of Kairi.]

At the very least, let's save ourselves some effort and try the direct route out.

You honestly expect to just walk into one of your portals?

You can always take your chance with the corridor. I'm sure it'll be enlightening.

[He walks past her towards his own dark portal.]

Thanks, I will. [She'll be heading over to the next hallway and... pausing in disbelief at what she sees.]

[Luxord disappears into his portal.]

[ WOOF WOOF ]

[Woah what.] Oh! Hey, boy! [Crouches down and gives him a pat.] Do you know where we are?

[ oh yay he loves getting petted :D ]

[Giggles a bit.] Well, I guess we'd better get looking if we wanna get out of here. Which way do you think we should go?
