[Leaning against a wall in one of the main kitchens, a certain vampire is reflecting on his time here, and a few other recent things such as his death and that awful birthday he missed because he was dead. Funny, just as that thought crosses his mind, a decent sized chocolate on chocolate cake appears. Three cute kid like candles are placed on it in the order of 2, 0, 1, making out that his belated birthday aged him to two-hundred and one. He simply just stares at the cake. Anyone is willing to take a piece ~]

[ooc; the cake is harmless, and the muse is back! Woo! (also his birthday was February the 13th. :D)]

Maybe I ought to explore more now that there really isn't anything else to do here.

Good plan. [A bit of a laugh.] Or after too many years to have candles for, are things just not that exciting?

Well, in the cases related to myself, usually things die out unless you find this true love stuff. I really don't get it all.

[scratches his head.]

Given that usually needs a heart, you know? I can imagine.

We're suppose to be 'special', or so I've heard.

Special how? [He tilts his head.]

Don't know, but we aren't suppose to be like other Nobodies.

Yeah. You're over a century old. That's not normal Nobody. [A bit of a laugh.]

I mean in the general sense, and it's normal for a vampire.

[Really, now. He lifts an eyebrow.] No kidding?

[Axel will shake his head a bit, and then open his mouth just in time for two long fangs to start producing themselves out of his normal-looking canine teeth.]

Heeey. I get the picture.

[And now they will find their way back into his mouth, turning into perfectly normal looking canine teeth.]

How'd that happen? Spend too long in Halloween Town?

Nah. I was.. born like this, technically, well I mean my Somebody.

Huh. [Well, that's even more different than hair, he thinks. A handwave, and-] Can't say I ever thought about how those things worked.

It's a very long story.

[shrugs]

Guess you ain't sharing. [He shrugs.] Well, it explains at least a couple of things. By local standards, that's a miracle.

I can share, but I didn't know if you were interested.

[Axel's face is now painted with a very interesting smirk.]

Then share. [He grins back.] I can't say I had anything else planned today.

Well I'm guessing you know the soulless vampire story things, right? My.. 'immortality' is based more on these little robots in my blood called nanos that feed on blood, more than the human body can possibly make. Thus, the fangs, and the nanos give us what we need to get that blood, such as speed, strength, night-vision and a ton of other things.

That's not what I'd call a long story. [He chuckles.] So science is to blame? Huh, okay.

It could be longer, but I'm incredibly lazy and can't remember half the stuff half of the time.

[A louder laugh at that.] Fair enough.
